Who is currently the best big man of 2013 draft class? Who will be the best when all is said and done? Make a list if you feel compelled to do so.

    -Rudy Gobert (biased here,fellow frenchman)
    -Steven Adams
    -Gorgui Dieng
    -Alex Len
    -Nerlens Noel
By doing that I realize this draft was nod that bad though.

I actually like Len the best. His offensive game is pretty advanced and he’s a lot more mobile than I thought.. He may not average the blocks of Gobert or Noel but he’s defense has improved a lot this year. It really depends on your team because these big men are unique

    No love for Plumlee?

10.3 ppg 7 rpg 1 bpg 59% FG percentage in only 23 mpg. Per 36 he’s at 15.9 ppg 10.7 rpg and 1.5 bpg. When KG is out of town and he finally gets the reins, he’s going to be very effective.

Mine….Judging by what I feel they have shown so far, plus their potential

    1. Nerlens Noel

    2. Steven Adams

    3. Rudy Gobert

    4. Mason Plumlee

    5. Gorgui Dieng

    6. Cody Zeller

    7. Alex Len

    8. Kelly Olynyk

    9. Bebe Noguiera

    10. Mike Muscala

I’ve always thought what 2013 lacked in star power they made up in depth. I feel this 2015 draft is almost the opposite. They have some legit players who could end up being stars, but lack many players that I feel will have NBA staying power past the first 25-30 players.

As a Phoenix fan I hope it is Alex Len and he has made some useful progression this year.

Steve Adams is a starter on what is considered when fully fit a contending team, Noel has only played 40 odd NBA games and is still a work in progress, Gobert looks like he could be a legit defensive anchor in the NBA. I like Kelly Olynk’s shooting range, Cody Zeller I want to see more of before I make a comment on his play.

All other names mentioned above are worthy of consideration too.

As Giannis has played some power forward in effect this season can me consider the Greek freak in this category I wonder?

1.Noel- Once they get Embiid he will be able to play more effectively on both ends off and get a lot more easy baskets. He will never be a go to scorer but he will be a great energy guy with all defense capabilities. If he adds a consistent 15 foot jumpshot and keeps adding muscle he will be a very good starter in the NBA.

    2. Adams-Like many young big guys Adams comes in with a defensive game that is way ahead of his offensive game. He is a quality defensive anchor already at 21 and if he continues to develop his post game he could be a top 10 center moving forward.

    3. Gobert- He is as long as they come and averaging 7 and 7 to go with being top 5 in the league in blocks has been a surprise to me. Now with Kanter looking to get dealt that will open up even more minutes for Rudy to develop his all around game.

    4. Len- Alex is ahead of all the other players on my list as far as offensive development goes but playing on the Phoenix team that likes to run and shoot he doesn’t get too many touches down low. He is also a capable defender and appears like he will be a solid NBA starting center for quite some time.

    5. Plumlee- He is certainly the biggest surprise on this list for me. His combination of athleticism and efficiency (other than the foul line) has perhaps made him the most effective of all the young big guys so far. I don’t see his game developing as much as the other guys I have ranked above him but if you can put up 15 and 10 per 36 minutes you are going to have a long successful NBA career.

It’s it just me that feels olynyk is underrated and overlooked on this list?  He is by far the most polished and could step in and make difference on just about any team.  Sure he has physical limitations. Especially how it translates defensively, but he’s extremely intelligent with a high motor. Kind of how noah has made a loving defensively. Not saying he’s number one. But I’m shocked he hasn’t cracked anybody top 5

Because he’s just not that good defensively, not a very good rebounder. He’s skilled but doesn’t have quite the same impact as Gobert,Adams overall.

     1. Gobert-stifle tower is already a really good rim protector and active on both ends of the floor. He could be a DeAndre Jordon type except better at actual defense.

    2. Adams-Already a strong defender and rebounder. Not much of an offensive guy but could consistently be a 10-12 ppg and 8-12 rpg

    3. Plumlee

    4. Len

    5. Olynyk
