    1. Kansas- too much experience and I love that they have solid players in the post and on the perimeter.

    2. West Virignia- After seeing how well they dominated the boards in the Big East tornament, I think they are a scary team.

    3. Georgetown- Despite my PITT bias, the way Monroe is playing makes GTown a very capable team.

    4. Maryland- I think the 4 seeds are pretty weak but Maryland is the strongest IMO.

    5. MSU- Been a very solid team in the tourney for a number of seasons now. Attribute that to solid coaching.

    6. Notre Dame- This is tough but I think Harangody is gonna be real hungry for this one. He’ll come to play and their new slow-pace may be effective.

    7. Oklahoma State- James Anderson can carry this team pretty deep.

    8. Texas- They really standout from the rest of the 8 seeds IMO. Potential bracket buster.

    9. Louisville- Could be my big east bias but I think they are much better than their record indicates. As long as Sosa stays under control they can be a tough team to beat. He’s a high risk high reward player.

    10. Georgia Tech- Favors is starting to put it together which puts them a bit over St. Mary’s IMO.

    11. Washington- I kinda like Minnesota coming off as of late with Tubby as their coach as well. But, Pondexter’s ability could make Washington a dangerous team.

    12. UTEP- Very athletic and long team which could create some problems for a team that is not great in transition D.

    13. Siena- Has experience in the tourney and always seems to be capable of pulling the upset.

    14. Ohio- Dont know much about these teams, but everytime I have seen Ohio, they seem in the mix.

    15. UCSB- looked very good in the Big West tournament…the Big West tournament for what it is worth.

    16. Vermont- none of them really stand a chance but I think Vermont is the most talented of those teams.

Beat Wisconsin? Literally, as in they defeated Wisconsin this season? … Wisconsin beat Maryland, by around 10 if I’m remembering correctly. I might have to start a topic on this (if it hasn’t already been discussed)…but Wisconsin is vastly underrated. People forget half their losses occurred with their best player out/ playing injured. Article after article mentions them as a trendy pick based on Bo Ryan and the methodical Swing offense, yet no one mentions Leuer’s absence. They were a shot away from beating Purdue (at Purdue) and beat Michigan St. by around 20 without Leuer’s services. They also beat Purdue at home with Leuer essentially playing with a broken hand the whole game. Without Leuer, they were playing Frosh and 2/3 men the post. However, their absolutely abysmal shooting performance in the Big Ten Tourney doesn’t help their case…and their Duke win isn’t that impressive considering they rarely lose at home and Duke isn’t that stellar this year.

1’s: Kansas, Kentucky, Syracuse, Duke – Kansas

2’s: Ohio St, Kansas St, West Virginia, Villanova – West Virginia

3’s: Georgetown, Pittsburgh, New Mexico, Baylor – Georgetown

4’s: Wisconsin, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Maryland – Not really impressed by any of the 4 seeds, but I think Maryland is best

5’s: Michigan St, Butler, Texas AM, Temple – Butler

6’s: Marquette, Notre Dame, Xavier, Tennessee – Xavier

7’s: Oklahoma St, BYU, Richmond, Clemson – Oklahoma State

8’s: Texas, California, Gonzaga, UNLV – Texas

9’s: Norhtern Iowa, Florida St, Wake Forest, Louisville – Louisville barely over UNI

10’s: Saint Marry’s, Missouri, Florida, Georgia Tech – St. Mary’s barely over Georgia Tech

11’s: San Diego St, Minnesota, Old Dominion, Washington – San Diego State. Dominated UNLV and beat UNM en route to the MWC tournament championship.

12’s: New Mexico St, UTEP, Cornell, Utah St – UTEP, but I think Cornell and Utah State have better first round draws, so they will both get out of the first round despite not being as good as UTEP.

13’s: Wofford, Siena, Murray St, Houston – Siena

14’s: Ohio, Montana, Sam Houston St, Oakland – Oakland

15’s: UC Santa Barbara, North Texas, Morgan St, Robert Morris – UCSB

16’s: Lehigh, Vermont, Arkansas Pine Bluff, Winthrop, Eastern Tennessee St – Vermont
