llperezI respect the fact that you can at least back up why you puy Max on the list. But I watched him play his whole career, and he was known for having ZERO concious. He never saw a shot he did’nt like. But reality is he only hit like 30% and was far more likely to shoot his team out of a game before he shot his team into a game. He was like John starks, but probably even more inconsistent. Top 20 3pt shooter is a real stretch for Mad Max. He had teammates like Kenny Smith and Robert Horry who should be higher on the list then him.

llperezI put him into the same category as Chris Paul. Great shooter when he had all day to set his feet and square up. But the truly great 3 point shooters in this league would pull up without hesitation or any room and shoot with confidence. Reggie Miller used to say that if he got to set his feet all day and square up, he would have shot 70% from 3. Mario Ellie needed all day to get his shot off.

llperezTracy and Lamond were brothers. Lamond was the younger brother and went to Cal. Tracy was older and went to UCLA. Lamond was the better overall player, but Tracy could hit threes all day. He made a solid career off of strictly hitting threes.

llperezYes, he is a guy I forgot about. He only had like a 5 year stretch where he was an elite shooter. But he is definitely in the convo. He made one all-star game in 1994 or 95 with Philly. No doubt a great shooter. But he also had a bit of a set shot that needed some space for him to get if off with any consistency. Now that I think about it, how the hell did I forget about Dell Curry, Steph’s dad…?

aarondsonixfanParticipantRay Allen has to be the best shooter in the universe. His form is absolutely perfect, and when you watch him shoot, you want to shoot like him. Reggie Miller was a good 3 shooter too, but I really think that Ray has him beat. He will beat Miller’s record
