canadabasketballisrisingParticipantBen Simmons clearly wants to play in California, he also is not worth anything close to a Harden package. This is the skeleton of the deal, fillers may need to be added for cap purposes. Who says no? fair market deal in my mind.
Philidelphia gets: Wiggins and Haliburton (pg for who is young, can shoot, high value)
Warriors get: Simmons, Buddy Hield
Kings get: Wiseman, Moody, Kumiga, warriors 2nd 2022 (or earliest conveyed).kings already have 3 good young point guards- they gain a potential franchise center, plus great young pieces in moody and Kumiga. They need to take a gamble.
Fox, Moody, Barnes, Kuminga or Bagley, Wiseman.Warriors get Simmons who they want plus a third splash bro who they were looking to trade.
Curry, Hield, Thompson, Green, Simmons.Sixers get a young high potential pg who can shoot, plus Wiggins who is a great third option.
Haliburton, Green, Wiggins, Harris, Embiid, with seth as the 6th man.1+ - Posted on: Fri, 08/06/2021 - 5:39am #1251541

ChoppyParticipantPhilly says no. They want picks. Halliburton might be the sort of young player with potential that they’d look for to replace Simmons (tall PG, decent shooter, good facilitator, future all star potential), but this deal isn’t getting done without a couple of first rounders.

NorrinRaddParticipantnot yet. If Ben doesn’t shoot better though, they might take something like this later.

HitsterParticipantThe Lakers will want to restock their roster in a couple of years that could be the Cali opening for him long term. I like the idea of him at GSW but they have Draymond who is still only 31 and gives you so much defensively like Ben does so would they be too similar on the same team or could Draymond move off ball.

canadabasketballisrisingParticipantWarriors do want picks but i agree unless simmons shows a nig improvement in his 3 and freethrows they won’t get a better deal 100%. They are risking betting on him coming back as a largely improved player by leaving this deal on the table…. rumors are he hasn;t responded to anyone from the sixers all summer. Bringing that back could be a huge mistake…

RUDEBOY-Participantthe thing that nobody is talking about is he has burned so many bridges in the organization…doc openly bashed him, embiid has expressed his frustration with him,so has the front office. they want equal value for a guy that gives u 18/8/8 and 1 of the best defenders in the nba….anything less embiid might ask to be traded….
