He startyed last night but still played under 20 minutes, but he did score 9 points early.
Who else thinks this kid can be very good with more minutes?

He started, FOR WHAT? he played 12th man minutes, and was the Mavs sparkplug in the 1st since he was the only one doing anything out there. GIVE THE MAN MINUTES!

I think he deserves around 20 mins a game. He’s been playing shooting guard and he’s not a very good defender yet. He’s more of a scorer to me, a Tony Parker type of player. He doesn’t deserve to p[lay more minutes than Kidd at the point, or more minutes than Terry at the 2. But he’ll take one of their minutes next year.

But yeah, i definetly agree, he deserves some minutes…if he got drafted by a bad team, or a team that’ll use him more, he’ll definitely could’ve be in contention of ROY

Just Terry, Ross was injured so he got it.
but yeah, he has a ton of talent and potential, he just needs minutes.

Dude is the point guard of their future and he is super quick. He is what Harris could have been if Avery would not have kept the clamps on him.

At worst he would be Barbosa like.

What the Mavs need is quickness and inventiveness in the backcourt, Jason Kidd already makes solid plays and facilitates the offense. When was the last time the Mavs had a dynamic guard who could break defenders down off the dribble? I think Pietrus had a good eye when he found this young player. He deserves more minutes. Another ultra quick french guard the NBA wiffed on early in the draft, I cant wait to see Jennings vs Beaubois in 3 yrs (I’m still taking Jennings but it will be fun). This young PG is in a great position to learn NBA fundamentals from Kidd.

True I saw like half of the first quarter and he played amazing he scored their first 9 points that’s great but the minutes suck which might not improve because they have Howard starting then Ross backs him up and there is little minutes left for him then at the point guard position Kidd starts then Barea and not enough minutes so he could average like 13 minutes in all or even less he did start should’ve played more.

The moment he played those minutes he reminded me of a raw Tony Parker… IF he is given those minutes, he will definitely transform into one of the finest guards in the League… Beaubois is so quick.. I am just simply amazed with his game PERIOD

i finally got to see him play and hes not that bad..right now hes not ready to get alot of minutes though maybe a lil more but i wouldnt take away barea or kidds min to get him out there because both of those players really help the team win more then he would..good future guy though…i still like barea though,,that lil guard is niiiiiice

If I were another Franchise, I would try to grab Barea off of the Mavs considering they are pretty high on this Beaubois kid.

how much time do ya’ll think are in a nba game?..lol..ya’ll say give this guy more time but kidd and jose arent playing bad enough to get less time..its just a number game sometimes..j.onealneeded more time in portland but i wouldnt have took out wallace or b.grant to give him more time when those guys were playing very well and the team wasplaying very well…if he was a game changer right now and better then those guys then yeah of course but ya’ll have to understand that sometimes its a numbers gamethis example isnt ont he same level but if you have a team of 3 pg one is chri paul the back up is billups and the thirs is arookie d rose then rose isnt gonna get abunch of time with the team being good and those 2 starting ahead of him
