Basketballfuture22ParticipantThats what im hearing and seeing on other sites that if Boozer is going to Miami, Beasley is going to Utah?
I like the move for both sides….what do you think?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 2:59pm #188843

JNixonParticipantIt actually is a decent move in terms of value, but I guarantee Mike Beasley will be in Sloan doghouse alot unless he proves he can play focused and defend. I can see it now..

Basketballfuture22Participant100% agree. I think adding Boozer would almost keep Wade there.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 3:06pm #188851

Lemons4LifeParticipantNo way Beasley for Boozer. I’m thinking Haslem & Wright. If they do Beasley I’m going to slap the gm and become their gm.

Basketballfuture22ParticipantSorry Citrus, that’s the only way Miami gets Boozer. Utah doesnt want exp contracts, they want contributing players.

bakimmthat wack boozer cant play d either hes gud but not 2nd pick good
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 3:11pm #188854

butidonthavemoneyI would do this. I don’t know how Beasley and Sloan would mesh but at least we are getting some talent in return. Utah will not trade Boozer to Miami for anything less than Beasley.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 3:22pm #188858
BasketballGuru24ParticipantIf Beasley is gone i think miami is making a big mistake, he is young and is progressing alot……..he is showing his versitility just needs to be a tougher defender……

Basketballfuture22Participanti think Beasley is overrated IMO
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 3:49pm #188872

JNixonParticipantHere we go…overrated talk
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 3:51pm #188873
Basketballfuture22ParticipantI dont wanna start a uproar from anyone, I just think to add Boozer all I have to give up is Haslem and Beasley…I would do it and not think about it.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 3:54pm #188879
STEVEDOT2Participantwade wants help now the heat dont have another 2 or 3 years to wait for b easy to improve his game..wade might be leaving next free agency and boozer will contrubite alot plus you can add the fact this is a contract year for him and if they bring in boozer it a help to bring i other players also
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 3:58pm #188892
STEVEDOT2Participantbeasley will be a great player he dominated in collge now hes in the nba..once he gets his game together he will be a dominate force come on he had better numbers then both durant and carmello in college and look at their careers he has a carmello anthony/ derrick coleman type of game plus he is a player who can play both forward postions and has the ceiling to be a force at both not a tweener but a versitale player
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 4:01pm #188903
Basketballfuture22Participanthe’s 6-7….he is a SF. Last Year he struggled as a PF
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 4:08pm #188925
Michael.S.Participantbeasley will be a star if he lives up to his potential, i think Boozer would be great for MIA. but not if they have to lose Beasley
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 4:16pm #188942
BosteritoParticipantIm a heat fan. I completely agree with: nuh uh
No way Beasley for Boozer. I’m thinking Haslem & Wright. If they do Beasley I’m going to slap the gm and become their gm.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 4:25pm #188943
Basketballfuture22ParticipantListen, you gotta think on the side of both teams. Why take 2 scrubs for a 20-10 player when healthy?
The Jazz want Beasley and thats the only way Miami gets Boozer
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 4:27pm #188944

justin22443Participanti honestly dont see how boozer would do anything more for the heat than jermaine oneal did (or at least attempted to do) last year. but then again, im pretty biased cause ive never been a huge boozer fan. true he’s a 20 and 10 guy but for some reason i just dont like the guy and think the heat should keep beasley. it would be a tremendous pain in the ass if they trade him away and he becomes a star
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 4:32pm #188946
Basketballfuture22ParticipantThe Heat should add Boozer because he can bring 20-10 next to J-Oneal. I like Beasley but people are overrating him. He wont be a 10rpg guy in the NBA. I think he will be a 19-8 guy. The reason why the Heat need to make this move is because Miami may lose Wade.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 4:36pm #188953
Michael.S.Participantu said I think he will be a 19-8 guy and Boozer is a 20 10 guy not much of a difference and Beasley is much younger, and can potentially play SF and PF
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 4:40pm #188954
Basketballfuture22ParticipantMicheal Beasley is 6-7…he is a SF. Yea down the road in his peak seasons he will be a 19-9 guy. I think that not next season. Wade is the only superstar right now will opt out. The Heat needs to make moves because there the 3rd best team in thier division.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 4:51pm #188962
BosteritoParticipantI dont think you guys have seen games. After being the sixth man for almost the whole season, Beasley started when Haslem was injured. In every single game he averaged around 25-15. And he had two double doubles in the FIRST quarter.I recommend not trading Beasley, I think nHe will be a stud.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 4:55pm #188965
Basketballfuture22ParticipantIn every single game he averaged around 25-15….no he didn’t just saw the game logs
Beasley at best is a 19-9 player IMO. Would you risk losing Wade over Beasley? I would not.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 4:59pm #188966

White ChocolateParticipantWhich websites have you seen that say Boozer for Beasley?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 5:00pm #188967
billykParticipantBoozer cant stay healthy and he isnt getting any younger…..

Basketballfuture22ParticipantI saw hoopsworld talking about it. Also, some people I know were talking about it. They are close to the people who know more info.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 6:29pm #189079

marcusfizer21ParticipantBut considering the talent level between Booze and B-Easy, I think the Heat will take pause on this one… It’s a good idea of a trade but Michael Beasley has yet to reach the full level of his capability… It is a very big risk for the Heat to just let Michael Beasley go at such a young age… I know he has “underachieved” during his rookie year since many are expecting him to be the runaway winner of the ROY but give him time, I think he will bounce back from it… Booze is often injured and I hope that he finds a team that would suit up for him and I certainly hope it’s not with the Bulls.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 7:42pm #189161
Basketballfuture22ParticipantWade has option. Many people ( inside) are saying he is the main player right now to opt out in 2010. Wade is 27, the way he plays he probably has 3-4 great years left. I say add Boozer by trading Beasley, lock up Cook and Chalmers and add another player to that mix in 2010
0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/24/2009 - 4:49am #189153
STEVEDOT2Participantboozer is 1 inch taller then beasley if he is 6-7 hes a player before you pegion hole him as 1 postion..and the qestion is will beasley ever be the player wade is..the heat will determine its future with b easy do they pick him or wade keeping him might cause wade to leave next season but trading him for boozer might cause wade to extened his contract with the heat…so the qestion is who do you want to take over your franchise and unproven young player or the face of a franchise…. a heat hall of famer or a college hall of famer{even tho mike didnt stay all 4 years he might of had 1 of the best freshman year of all time} i say stick with wade he already got the heat a ring i wouldnt say boozer the answer but by all means tthe heat will go after wade and if trade mike a get them a player thet will persuade wade to stay im all for it

STEVEDOT2Participantbeasly will excell in utah he will have time time grow spliiting time witk ak47 and milsap as a interchangable player…matt harp should be on his way out the door now….but beasly can make okur extendable also if beasly doesnt pan out to be a a dominat force dont low he still will versitale and can spread the floor at the power forward postion.if they get beasly there future will look bright with milsap, beasly, brewer, deron, and a lottery pick…n if they trade boozer i dont expect the playoffs and they were and 8th seed last year so 2 lottery picks i like korver and he fit the system but i really dont like players who can only shoot and give up points on the defensive end..so he can go……n this will be he time to try to find a home for ak 47 if were going to rebuild lets do it all the way the miiler family pays to much for players..but its ying and the yang…atleast there willing to spend to compete
0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/24/2009 - 5:12am #189257
Basketballfuture22Participant1 pick….Utah’s own pick is top 17 protected. If they dont make the 2nd round of the playoffs….they lose thier 1st round pick to Minnesota
0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/24/2009 - 7:53am #189318
STEVEDOT2Participantno..if they have the the seasons 17th worst record or lower they keep their pick because its protected thru the top 17
but if the record ranks the 18th or higher they lose their pick….the playoffs have nothing to do what the draft but the top 14 teams that dont make the playoffs with the worst records go in to the lottery where the number 1 pick can be anybodys…. then after that the reaglur season records stands from worst to best……unless some picks art tradeded are owned by other teams
