IndianaBasketballParticipantAccording to reports, he’s out for the next eight weeks with a stress fracture in his left patella. No surgery required… Just rest and rehab. I don’t have the article, but saw it posted on Marc Stein’s twitter.
I know they say it doesn’t require sugery, but you don’t F with the patella. Remember Blake Griffin’s rookie year? His broken kneecap started off from a stress fracture. Greg Oden’s broken kneecap started originally as a stress fracture as well. Thoughts?

goneParticipantI haven’t read any report that uses the word fracture but regardless it sucks wish we would’ve signed a vet point guard

CodySLCParticipantThey may end up trying a sg ( Jordan Crawford, Bradley Beal) at the pg now.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’d put my money on AJ Price starting at the point.

220ParticipantYou’re probably right. Shelvin Mack is also an option before the Wizards would go with a shooting guard such as Beal and Crawford.

Jlv2012However, 8 weeks means the Wizards will be getting off to a bad start.

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe’s going to be out until at least the 1st of Dec. They’re going to baby that injury. You can’t rush back from that… It’ll split and then break. Then surgery and he’s done for the season.

Ny2daDeathOFmeParticipantits only 8 weeks it could be worse like a broken patella . he’ll be ready in 2 months maybe even before that. some games we’ll be missed but not a ton

MUbballfanParticipantbad news, he was in for a breakout season it seemed, now he will likely get off to a slower start when he returns.
