L.ShapParticipantRoyal Ivey declines player option and this means the sixers may not try to get rid of Willie Green.

Tha King2121ParticipantThis really hurts us.
Royal Ivey brings stronge hard D.
He fit good in the system too.I dont really like Willie(nor does anyone else) but he does
bring good energy, with a good mid range.Still attempt to trade Willie Green

apb540ParticipantWhy not try to resign him for real cheap because I don’t see there being a huge demand for him especially with all the pg’s in this draft.
And yes, please still trade Willie.

Tha King2121ParticipantHe doesnt want to play for the sixers at all,
The staff knew he was opting out. It ok not
If u think about it is a help for the Rookie PG,
Then they will get more minutes0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/09/2009 - 6:00am #179067

JNixonParticipantI like Willie Green way more than Royal Ivey. He’s a better player, better scorer and he is a good defender, too.
