we can discuss it and that is fun and all, but go back and look at any draft from the past. Nobody knows for sure how things will look when we stare back at this draft in a few years. GM’s, media and fans might have smart opinions about how teams did, but fact is we cant say anybody had a bad draft for certainty yet.

Brandon Wright is not only better then Udoh but he is younger. Randolph put on weight and will be starting at power forward this year. Monroe would of been a way better fit as well as George and Henry would of been too. 6 may of been too high for George and Henry but I don’t see how when they are both obviously better then Udoh and fill a bigger need.

George is actually a shooting guard despite his height so I think he can work with Granger. Their games do have some similarities but most sg and sf have similar skills. I thought Indiana should have gone big but if George is half as good a T Mac and stays healthy. He and Granger can form a great combo and Stephenson will be great off the bench but I think he or Rush will get trade though.

Udoh may not start because Don Nelson is not fond of rookies for so reason cept Stephon Curry who did not get a lot of minutes until people got hurt.

Also Cousins, your Indiana starting line up will probably not happen because if Dunleavy and Murphy are traded, they should receive a player that should be a starter but if not then Dunleavy will start at 2 and Murphy at 4. Hansbrough is more of an energy guy anyway.

Jerry Sloan does not hand players minutes, which will not bode well for Hayward. He is not as good as C.J. Miles or Andrei Kirilenko, which is going to shut the door for meaningful minutes at the small forward position. One has to figure that Millsap will get 30-35 minutes, Kirilenko will get 30-35 minutes, and Miles will get 25-30 minutes per. It does not leave a lot of minutes at the forward spots for Hayward unless someone gets hurt. They could try him at the 2, but he does not seem like a guy who will be running around and shooting off screens or even simply being a Korver-type three point shooting specialist. Plus, that raises even more defensive questions than if he plays the 3. I don’t see how it is a good fit.

Udoh does not make a ton of sense. I don’t think he was a great prospect under the best circumstances, but it is worse when one considers the Warriors already have a pair of long, skinny shot blockers who are younger than Udoh. As last year showed, anyone can fill a stat line if they get minutes in that system. He might have a few games where his numbers are great, Anthony Tolliver did, but I don’t see how Golden State will be a better team for this pick.

Paul George is not a guy who would earn big minutes early on, he isn’t really NBA ready, so it isn’t a bad pick. He can use some time to grow up and work on his game. Plus, Granger is better as an undersized 4 than as a 3. If George develops, playing the two together won’t be a problem.

Jon Scheyer can’t replace Fisher, and would not be better than either player the Lakers drafted.

Actually I think that George and Grangers games compliment each other really well. Think Rip Hamilton and Tayshawn Prince.

He is not a 4. He isn’t even that good of a rebounder for a 4, and he is quite thin for a 4. He wants to play at the 2.

I agree with shaquille bro neal entirely, he is exactly on point, stop trying to say how a player is going to play, what position hes gonna play at, how many minutes hes getting or what kind of role they will play, let them play at least a full NBA season before you can really make a fit comparison, seems to me you guys just didn’t like the players some teams picked, they are in this business for a reason, they know a lot more then me or you about drafting players, other then Kahn that is.
