Who are the “max” players?

like i said in that other post, max guys should only be signed by teams who have enough young talent to be able to win with the current players, since once you’ve signed someone to the max, you probably won’t have enough money to add much other talent through free agency.

In all Honesty, only some players deserve the Max Contract and imo they are
Dwight Howard, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Chris Paul,
Borderline – Roy, Melo, D-Will, Bosh, Amare, Parker, Aldridge, Granger, Iggy, K-Mart, Gay?

Now I know I missed Duncan,Shaq, Dirk, Yao, ‘Mac, Carter, Iverson, but at their ages/injuries they probably aren’t as deserving as the others listed. This was just off the top of my head, feel free to add on. One more thing, I didn’t put the younger players like Mayo, Rose, Griffin. The youngest is Durant and I think all agree with me on that.

Dirk is without a doubt deserving he was the best player for two years running and is only 32. He still has plenty of gas left in the tank
