cward23ParticipantThe fact that his offensive game is very very advance(how many Sg hae had almost no flaws on offense on the H.S level in recent memory). The obsession is redic but its not any more different then the other hundreds of post about players or pictures of players

Cardinal_FanParticipantHe kind of reminds me of OJ Mayo in this situtation, meaning he was the guy until his senior year an u saw guys like Derrick Rose and Eric Gordon pass him eventually. Rivers is a really good player offensively, he can be more complete by learning to get his teammates involved and playing harder on the defensive end. But imo he has pretty much peaked. If u look at other guys in the class they have so much more room to get better and grow while Rivers is very close to being a finished product. I think ultimately he will be in the Monta Ellis mold. He will probably be a 20 point scorer throughout his career and be a really good individual scorer but not a winner. I think if Beal, Teague, and Kabongo continue 2 develope they will be more valuable pieces that contribute to building a winning team then Rivers will be.
