I really think he has got the talent on offense to be a 20 ppg scorer. I played against him in highschool and he lit us up for 40 somethin. I really believe he could be a good scorer

    any1 elsee thing this?

In his prime Daye could probably average 20-25 points.

i didnt think Prince would be strong enough to succeed in the lg and he proved me wrong… My intial thoughts were same on dayer, but he does look awfully impressive… As he gets stronger he could end up being the steal of this draft!

The reason he could score 40 in high school is because he is a 6’11 SF/PF. How many of those guys did your team have? He sould have averaged 50pts, 15reb, and 9blks as a senior. Thats just my opinion. They guy is a huge SF and should havee dominated the High School level. Obviously he didnt because he went to Gonzaga. Not to bash the school but if he was great then Duke and UNC would have been after him hard. Guy will be good and I think he is a play maker as much as he is a scorer. Your comment about high school was worth nothing other than to let people know that your high school team got slayed.

Austin Daye got offers from UCLA, Washington, Arizona State, Oregon, and Cal just to name a few. He chose the Zags because he liked Coach Few. You have to remember Gonzaga is better than alot of high major teams sir. He wasnt some average college prospect. He was a 5 star guy. He’s a late bloomer, and he didnt exactly average alot of points in high school (16 ppg) but he was a dominate presence. I think he could average around 19 or 20 ppg in his career. Definite possibly with his offensive talent.

Wait man…you are talkin as much as i am…Also, there is no need to try to prove that you were something when you “played” in post either. Just make your point and leave it at that.

Until pretty much his senior year in high school. He is still growing into his frame!!!! Don’t tell me that he should have averaged 50 points a game in high school when he was still trying to do with all of that height! That being said I think he is soft and a waste of a first round pick. I don’t care how well he is playing in summer league, he is terrible to me and I am glad that Gonzaga doesn’t have to put up with his horrible attitude.
