Any chance this guy gets drafted in 2011 or 2012? Since hes only a soph. and probably wont leave early I have not seen any draft projections for him. Hes only 6’2 and probably won’t be able to run the point in the NBA, but the kid can stroke it from NBA range so does he have a chance?

If a team gives him a chance all he would have to do is have a dominant slasher to set him up for open 3’s. Remember how Daniel Gibson got so much love from the Cavs for hitting open shots from Lebron drives.

Maybe go to the Kings, nobody can seem to keep Tyreke out of the paint and he kicks it out a lot.

He has a chance but it isn’t a good one. A lot of things have to happen for him.

He’s what we call a chucker. Actually shoots worse on 2s than 3s. He’s shooting 40.1 percent from the field on a team where every forward is shooting over 50 percent. For unknown reasons, Jamie Dixon is allowing Gibbs and Jermaine Dixon to sink his team’s efficiency numbers like crazy.

Still, Gibbs is talented. And as a sophomore, he can still improve. But his only hope is that someone things he’s Eddie House.

Adi Joseph, quick question…Have you guys been scouting Durand Scott?

I like Scott’s future. He’s athletic and his natural passing ability should have scouts drooling over him… in two or three years.

He could be a first rounder if he sticks around and learns a jump shot. The reason we don’t have 2012 mocks is because seeing that far into the future is almost impossible.

Ashton Gibbs is a player I like…He doesn’t project well to the NBA but I do like him. He can shoot it, but he’s not a great ball-handler, passer or defender right now. Especially at the NBA level, but he is a solid college player who should enjoy 4 years and play overseas.
