Andrew1984ParticipantI always think it’s funny how we spend weeks and months trying to predict which players will be slotted where and who will select them based on that team’s needs, their current roster, their GM’s strategy, etc., and then every year, the trades blow the entire thing up. We can only attempt to predict each selection based on who we think it belongs to, but when another team ends up with the pick unbeknownst to the fans, we have no idea.
So, do you think there will be a flurry of trade activity? Or will this be a year when more GMs hold on to their current picks?

Lotto StudParticipantThe only thing you can do is pray the trade goes down before the mock deadline. Charlotte is my front runner to field offers for their pick so expect something drastic with the number 2 pick.

TyroberParticipantI definitely think there will be a lot of trades. Bobcats are open to trading #2, Cavs and Blazers might swing a deal trading the 4th and 24th for the 6th and 11th. Warriors want a veteran instead of a rookie with the 7th pick. Hornets have said #10 can be had. I gotta believe the Rockets won’t keep the 14th and the 16th. This will probably be one of the more busier drafts in recent history.

Counting StarsParticipantLast year it was trades and dudes who we’ve never heard of and whose names we can’t even pronounce. The late second round actually made me kind of sad.

AlexBoiiParticipantI think if you are serious about your mock drafts you have to consider at least a couple trades that are rumored but official until well into the draft. If you look at the past 10 years, there are about 10 trades per draft through both rounds combined. I have already factored 3 trades into my draft.
