 Well, I didn’t think it would last as long as it has but here we are at week 7! Two best performers this week RUDEBOY_ and BasedNeophyte each had 9 points. RUDEBOY picked all 5 game winners and even had 2 exact picks. BasedNeo had a 5 pointer for picking Drew Brees and one exact pick and another pick. BallIsLife41 also had a solid 8 points to tie up for second. A lot of people picked the Lions over the Falcons and the Bucs over the Bears which threw people off.

Also, ProudGrandpa I love the eagerness to join but I can’t allow it. You missed 6 weeks already! haha

Also, thanks for the suggestions BasterinaBasket. I will look into some other bonus situations (maybe RB Tds next week)

i think you weight things a little too much for the bonus. One guy could get all 5 picks wrong but pick the correct qb and another guy gets all 5 games correct but doesnt pick the correct qb and both people get 5 points. just my 2 cents.

Proudgrandpa – dude, I see you trying to get active on NBAdraft and trying to be liked so hard lol. You can play if you want I guess, but you better keep up like some of the other guys cuz you have a long way to go. I’ll add your score next week

aamir – My dude, never give up! But if you have another really off week and get tired, then you can stop although your 23 points are still somewhat managable to maybe a top 5 

RUDEBOY_ and llperez – I see where you guys are coming from. The reason why I initially brought in the extra points was to stimulate some other new users to join and maybe seeing a big total would give someone hope to catch up quickly. I don’t know why I chose 5 points for the QB and 10 points for the correct TDs and QB but my rationale was that predicting just 1 player out of the 20+ QBs playing was so much more difficult than picking between two teams (a 50-50 chance). Thats why I decided to make the amounts so high because it is almost like playing the Powerball and getting the powerball number right. 

With that being said, for next week, I was going to change up the extra points to Most Rushing TDs by a running back for this week. What is a reasonable point amount for selecting the correct player and amount?

It’s not like the bonus is something easy to pick.  It’s hardly a factor anyways, and it makes things interesting as the field spreads out over the course of the season.  It can be a shot of life into an ailing picker’s hopes and dreams of being the NBADraft.net football-picking champion.  A dubious title, indeed.
