There are 4 men trying to make the Final Roster spot n the Thunder Squad.
    1. Ryan Bowen. F. Heard of him but havent heard much.
    2. Tre Kelley. G. Hes a Rookie from South Carolina.
    3. Mike Harris. F. A one year player from Rice. Played a Year in Ukraine
    4. Michael Ruffin F-C. Nine Year Player out of Tulsa.

Anyone got any Opinions or More Info on These 4 Guys? and Who do you Think would fit best with the young Thunder Sqad?

IF they add any of these players, I think they’d add a veteran/locker room presence. Ryan Bowen and Michael Ruffin are both veterans and good locker room/character guys.

Bowen is a SF/PF. He used to be a pretty decent role player for the Hornets. He doesn’t do anything great, but hustles, etc. He plays decent defense and has a decent IQ.

Michael Ruffin is a PF/C. He’s undersized, but he’s pretty big muscle wise. He’s a role/hustle player. He actually played decent minutes when he played with the Wizards a few seasons ago. He’s somebody who’ll up the practice intensity and has great character.

Ruffin I would say is a poor man’s Reggie Evans. Real good on the boards, but not much on offense.

Ruffin has been doing his thing for around 9+ years for now and he is a great person and he works hard and the Thunder are weakest at the center spot so he might actually see a few minutes.

so everyone is more or less leaning toward Ruffin or bowen for Defence and Locker room Presence. what about Presti’s wantin to keep a youthful team. Hes got Kevin Ollie for the Locker Room Presence. Collison,Krstic, and Thomas have all been in the NBA 5 or more years. anyone think they may stay with a young player like Kelley or Harris?

    1. Ryan Bowen- He’s one of the worst players in the NBA but he hustles and is a wide body..
    2. Tre Kelley-He’s steady as a PG, but he honestly isnt NBA level at anything
    3. Mike Harris-Harris is very, very short for a PF but he has a wide body and is a strong player down low who can make nice athletic plays at times. He’s not an NBA player either really.
    4. Michael Ruffin- He hustles and is automatically one of the worst players in the NBA. Oh and he’s ugly.

lol, i remember that game. There was too much time left to do that, 3 seconds. Also not only was that a dumb idea, but a dumb execution, he could have actually tried to throw it high so it would have ranout the time before it coud be retrieved, or thrown it in the backcourt, or just made the simple/correct basketball play and held on to it by shooting the free throws, 3 seconds left you make even one of those free throws, and the game is won with basic execution.

yeah, he could have held on or threw down to the other end or threw it higher or anything. Instead he just threw it straight up like 20 feet with 3 seconds left. I would be pissed if I was a washingotn fan that game.

He at least shouldve thrown it to the other side of the court….that was funny though. Even Eddie Jordan had to laugh at that.

I know that Mike Ruffin is one of the ugliest men to ever play in the NBA and the the mere thought of him will haunt my dreams.

yeah actually the wizards ended up losing that game, which makes that play even funnier for those who are not wizard fans. and the reaction of caron butler and antawn jamison hugging each other on the bench was pretty silly too.

and not only that, but in that year (i believe it was the same year), anthony parker hit another buzzer beating 3 pointer against the wizards to send it into overtime. but in that game, the wizards held on to win.

That was probably the most embarrassing moment of any NBA Player just poor judgement on Ruffin’s part… Wew! I remember Antawn Jamison leaving the bench thinking that the Peterson 3 ain’t going on… LOL
