My dissapointments in NBA 2K11 is that, the dunk contest still has a glitch in it, it won’t work, and that happened too in my NBA 2K10…Brandon Jennings & Wilson Chandler, two players with noticable tattoos, don’t have any tats at all in the game, and all the rookies who have tats, have their tats, and even Amir Johnson, who didn’t have any tats in NBA 2K10, has his tats in NBA 2K11…I thought they would’ve had alot of the classic old school teams, like the Rocket’s with Hakeem, Drexler, Kenny Smith, and etc, the Suns with Barkely and KJ, Orlando with Penny and Shaq, the Heat with Alonzo and Tim Hardaway, and etc, but there’s a select few…Also 4 well known rookies, Lance Stephenson, Devin Ebanks, Derrick Caracter, and Derrick Pittman isn’t in the game…Despite few short comings, I do like the game though

the gameplay is way different compared to 2k10 or 2k9. It seems like it’s somewhat in slow motion kind of, but that’s because they’ve ramped up the defenses on there. It’ll have to have some getting used to for me. Other than that, it’s pretty good.

They didn’t improved the dunk contest at all. I didn’t even play it in 2K10 and it’ll be the same in 2K11.

I didn’t realize Jennings and Chandler didn’t have their tats. They slipped up there.

They also don’t have Magnum Rolle on the game. They’re usually good about updating and adding rookies though. A lot of people were complaining about the ratings, but 2K already had an update Oct 5th where they upgraded players like Javalee McGee and Eric Gordon.

This is a different game and it’s going to take time for me to get used to it, but I see the potential.

Its alright I like the Jordan mode and the player mode this is the first time that I have gotten 2k basketball since dreamcast so its kinda wierd getting used to the buttons because I am so used to playing NBA LIVE but I guess its alright I still prefer EA Sports games.

I remember a lot of people didn’t like 2K10 when it came out because they were so used to 2K9. It’s the same with 2K11. It’s a lot different than 2K10.

The ball handling is the biggest adjustment for me. Add that to the fact the defense is tougher and harder to get around. The players just move differently in this game.

the ball handling is so damn hard in the game compared to the other 2k’s even with alternate a/b/c.

has anyone faced the heat? Is it me or does lebron ALWAYS get to the rim on an ISO? lol

Certain flash drives do work as additional hard drives, but I’m not sure if that’s why you can’t see highlights.  I would think that would be a function of RAM, unless you mean highlights you want to save to review later.  If it’s just a quick rundown of highlights in-game, then maybe it’s an option you need to adjust in the menu.

I think they did a good job with the whole putting Jordan back in the game, some old rosters etc.

It still leaves much to be desired, I would love to be able to use other older team rosters that I haven’t been able to really play since 1998-99 etc, and thats going back to the super nintendo, cmon.

I would like to see, but don’t expect to be able to use old classic teams, like the 96′ – 97′ Rockets, clyd drexler, hakeem olajuwon, charles barkley, mario elie…

Thats just one example, there is also the 96′ – 97′ Spurs @ the Alamodome! david robinson, sean elliot, vinny del negro, chuck person…

Thats just to awesome teams, with cool old school jerseys, and awesome looking courts.

Think what it would be like if they did classic versions for all the teams, at least one or two roster years per team….

The old teams, courts, jerseys, everything used to be so much more great about the NBA which is why this game will bring in huge $$, but modern NBA teams are no fun to watch for the fans of 90’s Basketball, we want classic rosters for all the teams, not just  a small few select rosters.

Jordan is a great part of the game, and I have been waiting for this for years, but it only leaves me wanting more, I will get tired of using the classic rosters in the game at some point, and don’t much care for many of the modern teams, so a roster update would be cool, I would even be willing to pay for it if it had what I stated above.

Overall, good game…about time for MJ 23.

My disappointment is that in the PS2 version they do not have Wesley Johnson. C’mon seriously he was in the 4th pick in the draft, how do you not have him? Now I have to create him, and then just pretend I’m okay with the game assuming that he went undrafted and that he is 26. Seriously they need to fix that. It is not that hard, just add in the entire first round of the most recent draft and there you go. This is just inexcusable. They also don’t have Josh Childress, Tiago Splitter, or Xavier Henry. There are others as well but I really didn’t care about those ones.
