I predict AD to be best pf in the West Conference this year.I think he’s this generations KG.He will break out with 20 10 4 3 season, and if this guy ever gets to 260 lbs he would be scary.

It is certainly possible. If he has gotten over his injury issues, he could definitely see a big leap. He was very efficient as a rookie and with increased strength, experience, and a more aggressive scoring mentality, he could average 20 ppg, although I think mid- to high-teens is a more realistic prediction for this season. With his footwork, touch, and athleticism, he should be a 20 ppg scorer by the end of his rookie contract at least.

Nah. As long as Tim Duncan’s in the league, keep dreaming.

OK, yeah. I’m just used to thinking of Duncan as a center for some reason, so he is clearly the best. If Kevin Love returns to pre-injury form, he is second. But AD could very easily leapfrog Lamarcus Aldridge and Dirk Nowitzki, and in a few years, AD could be the best.

Kevin Love is set to have a huge year as well. I love Davis and think he will be an all-star for years to come but he is still only 20 years old and 220 pounds.

His team is getting better as well which always helps but I’m not ready to give him the crown of best PF in the West until he is at least of legal drinking age.

While I agree that from a completeness standpoint, Davis will have few peers who can affect the game in as many ways as he can, I disagree that him bulking up to 260 would help him. I think 240-245 max would be his ideal playing weight, where his quickness and body control can still be exceptional.

I think 17-9-2-1-2 is pretty conservative for Davis this year, and 20-10 is definitely possible.

I think this statement would be more believable in the Eastern Conference.

A healthy Dirk and Pau are All-Stars. A healthy KLove is a 24-15 beast. Motivated Z-Bo can drop 18-11. David Lee is no slouch either. I’m not a huge Griffin fan but he still puts up 18-9-3. All this without even mentioning LaMarcus Aldridge and Tim Duncan.

Look I get where you’re coming from, I think his ceiling is insane and he might be the best in 2-3 years but the incumbents are to good. Yes I too think he’ll have a monster year and put himself in that conversation but Duncan, A Large Gulf, Aldridge (ever under appreciated) and Love, (in that order) will still be better this year. Blake Griffin is a divider of opinion but I’m not a huge fan, yes he sure can dunk but I don’t see him helping his team win as much as a top shelf player should.
