Meditated StatesParticipantMust have been putting in work since the season ended. He started showing this coming at the end of the season. Littile bit of confidence and guys play, and practice a lot different when they know they can hold their own in the league.

butidonthavemoneyIt’s just summer league. He also dominated last season in Vegas. It really doesn’t mean anything.

no1Participantthis is exactly why teams draft on potential… when he came into the league ppl were hating on him saying he aint ready and he is a twig. He progressed at the end of the yr last season. I predict he will average something like 17-18 ppg especially in the run n gun system of GSW. At 6’10 he is a do it all player

dejuiceboxParticipantLol Nick Young scored 36. Hes ok, but this shows you how much of the summer league is a joke its a bunch of nobodys and most of them wont make the NBA except for some. Randolph did good last year in the summer league and what did he do during the NBA season?

sheltwon3ParticipantActually dude was taller than 6’10 when he came in and if he has grown an inch he Is 7 feet. The sky is the limit for him. Right now it is about getting his basketball IQ up and putting on more strength/weight. Dude can do everything on the court. He has the raw skills of all positions and that is retarded for one person to have all that. Nick Young scored like 30 something in an actual game so this is nothing new. We all know Young can score. He needs to become a complete player though. Kinda wondering what happens with Mike Miller and Foye. Miller can back Butler but Foye should not be taking minutes from Young. Foye needs to go to a team in need of a two guard or bk 2 guard. Washington should trade with NJ. They have a surplus of big men that Washington wants. Randolph will be doing this in the regular season. People forget that in the regular season, he will be one of many talents on the floor and with guys like Ellis and Jack getting attention, there will be opportunities for him and also a lot of lobs thrown his way. Also this is another thing i want to add. Do you any of yall remember a young skinny german kid who came into the league and his first year he did nothing and people called him a Euro bust. I do and that player gain weight and teamed with Nash to get the Mavericks winning after working on his weight and his game. He is also later got tougher and lost some of his soft label. Randolph is already tough when the weight comes look out. The skills are there too.

sheltwon3ParticipantHmm I had a interesting thought that cant and will not happen. What if last year New Jersey trade Vince Carter and this year first round pick to GSW for Maggette and Randolph before people knew how good he is now. Remember early on Randolph was having issues with Nelson. If NJ would have had the hindsight. They would have had Randolph and Lopez in the front court with Devin harris and whoever in the backcourt. Lebron would definitely wanted to come here. They could have traded some of their extra pieces for a shooting guard or a late 1 st rounder or early second and got a 2. People talk about the Gasol and Ariza trades but the thing is there are a lot trades that could have happened if some GMs had the hindsight that would shock you.

JNixonParticipantYea I absolutely LOVE Nick Young as a player. He has swag. He has the ability to score 20 a game.He has lots of moves and can score at all 3 levels. He just is a ball hog and he shoots too many jump shots for a player with his 1st step and athleticism.

lalailaParticipantI siad earlier that he will win MIP he just wants minutes, 3straight 20/10 and now 42 , amazing happens!

SlamParticipantAnthony Randolph is one of the most exciting players in the league because he is long, incredibly athletic, but also has a point forward type of NBA game. If this was baseball he would be a 5 tool player. Randolph isn’t the only one blowing up in Vegas though, check out here to see which Europeans are playing well (Hint: Rodrigue Beaubois):

gatorheelsParticipant@Sheltwon- u made some really interesting comments which I agree with. Wizards should trade Foye to the Nets. Nets could send the Wizards Sean Williams or Josh Boone in return. Also a core of Harris, LeBron, Lee, TWill, Randolph, Lopez equals championships.
Randolph needs to gain about 20 more pounds & improve his shot. If he does both those things he will be an all-star. I’m not saying that based off summer league either. I’m saying that based on what I’ve seen him do in person.
