NbanflguyParticipantThe guy has 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 blocks tonight. I think Mdymes has said this earlier, but literally every time he gets significant playing time he puts up numbers. Love went down with a concussion 8 minutes in and Randolph is stepping up.

NbanflguyParticipantThe short handed Wolves were down 21 at halftime in Denver, but ended up tying the game in the 4th. We eventually lost by 6, but it was a fun game.

aamir543ParticipantNice game, from the highlights I like what he was doing, hope Love is OK though. You get qeusy everytime you hear the word concussion with any player, expecially a player like Love.

M-DYMESParticipantAmen Nbanflguy!!! This is exactly what I was talking about. I think AR15 is ready to make a difference for a team. It’s a shame he is stuck on a T-Wolves team loaded with PFs.

Tight ButtholeParticipantWith him only making $2mil this year and $4mil next year, what does Minnesota do with him? Do they trade his expiring contract for something, or let him ride it out for another year? With all these flashes of good production given the opportunities, Id love to see this guy land with a team that could actually utilize him and give him some consistent PT.
And if Minnesota does want to move him, what could they honestly get in return?

NbanflguyParticipantYeah I hope Love is ok to. Being in Minnesota, concussions have really harmed our sports teams. Actually I guess only the Twins. A few years ago our 3rd basemen Corey Koskie got one and never played again, and still experiences symptons to this day. Last year our CF Denard Span got one and missed most of the season and 2 years ago our former mvp winner Justin Morneau got one and has never been the same. He still has symptons to. All 3 plays did not look very serious at all. Concussions are pretty weird and scary stuff.

NbanflguyParticipantM-Dymes we are on the same page! We are driving the band wagon! I still dont like his body language, it looks like playing basketball makes him depressed, but he can play when given the chance.

For_Never_EverParticipantHopefully my Celtics take a shot on him. I’m for sure KG will not be here next year.

NbanflguyParticipantGood question Tight butthole. haha what a fantastic name.
I think if I remember correctly, Randolph had a team option for next year and the Wolves did not pick it up. He will be a FA after this year.

Tight ButtholeParticipantIf he’s a free agent, what kind of money is he really worth? You get these flashes of big numbers when he gets minutes, then you get multiple games with him getting less than 5 minutes and getting no production. If youre a GM, what kind of value do you base on a guy under those circumstances and how many dollar bills do you throw at him?
The reason I ask is because I can really see him in a Cavalier uniform next year getting some real minutes and hopefully getting value from him. Cavs have 6 players under contract next year, and 2 of those belong to Luke Walton and Omri Casspi. So they def have a spot for him and money to throw his way. But thats me being a homer.

JunkYardDogParticipantaround 3M a year over 2 years (maybe the 2nd in PO) could be the kind of deal he gets.

kngojcParticipantI wouldn’t be surprised if someone overpays him by a lot. Anywhere from 2-7 million wouldn’t be out of the question.

JunkYardDogParticipantHe’s not a center…. centers are being overpaid not big stretch four. He still hasn’t shown what he can do during a whole season with playing time but he shows flashes, so 3M is the kind of money he should manage to get in a short term contract.

river09ParticipantOne of the more interesting stats of this game was that Michael Beasley only got 10 minutes of playing time vs the 31 for Randolph and 38 for Williams, who both produced big time… I don’t see the wolves getting rid of Anthony Randolph like everyone else has said, whenever he gets playing time, he produces.. Beasley on the other hand could be the odd man out.. I am afraid I’m drawing too many conclusions from one game though, PT in general has been distributed in a very chaotic manner for the wolves this year.. Love seems to be the only player recieving consistently the same minutes everyone elses varies widely…

johnecoParticipantHe’s really immature, borderline headcase.
Two teams in desperate need of talent have already given up on him (soon 3 counting Minny), even though he oozes crazy potential. Like physically he seems to have the ability to be Kevin Garnett in his prime. His highlight reels are out of this world. But when given the chance, he teases you with a great game, and follows that with 5 where he seems barely interested. His body language is among the worst in the NBA; he slumps around lazily – you almost expect him to be arrested for loitering.
He’s still young, still long, he may get it and some team will hit the jackpot. He’s perfect for a team like Cleveland, that can take a chance on him without much pressure.

sheltwon3ParticipantRandolph hopefully can find a team that is willing to give him starter minutes and be patient with him. Suns would be interesting but they have 2 stretch 4’s. Bobcats and Hornets could use him. San Antonio could possibly use him which would be scary if Duncan could help him grow and tutor him for a while.

JoeWolf1He reminds me of Tyrus Thomas due to his athleticism and talent paired with a headcase with not a ton of work ethic. I think going to a bad team that would allow him to play and establish himeself would be his best move. I just don’t think he’s a good enough player to be a regular contributer for a good team. He’s even struggling to break the lineup on a 500 team like the Wolves. Granted the Wolves are stacked at the PF position, including a #2 overall pick who had a nice game of 27 and 8 last night too.

NbanflguyParticipantToday in 27 minutes against the Clippers Randolph got these numbers:
7/12
16 points
9 Rebounds
2 Asists
3 Blocks
