OhCanada-ParticipantWith the lackluster season he had in his rookie campaign whats Bennetts trade value. Not suggesting he is on the block but what would he bring in. Would he be worth a Top 10 pick in this draft? Would it he be worth the suns highest 1st rounders or Chicagos 1st rounders. Key piece for a lower level star player like Millsap or higher level like Love?

Lafferty DanielParticipantI don’t think anyone is willing to a trade a first round pick for Bennett, even if it’s in the 20’s. The only way I can see Bennett getting moved is if he’s packaged with other assets.

FutureNBAGMParticipantBennett’s value is so far down right now that, if I were Cleveland, I would hang on to him for another year just to try and get his trade stock up before I consider moving him.

jtthebrickParticipantHe was a "tier 3" or "tier 4" prospect going into last year’s draft. There are about 9 "tier 2" or better prospects in this draft. So if he were in this draft, he wouldn’t have been worth a top 9 pick. Now I’d say he’s not worth more than a late 1st.

Andrew1984ParticipantIf the Cavs take Embiid, they will need Bennett to become a usable stretch four, because Embiid would benefit tremendously from the spacing / floor-stretching.
If they re-sign Spencer Hawes, he provides the stretching and the indication would be that they’ll stick with Tristan Thompson at the four to do dirty work and bounce around inside. In that case, Bennett will have to be a three or a backup four.
If they draft Wiggins, the future at the three is settled, making the four Bennett’s only opportunity.
Right now, the only place to go is up. He needs to prove he’s been in shape all off-season and he needs to absolutely dominate summer league. As personnel decisions in the draft and free agency are made and as next year’s roster takes shape, his role will become clearer.

burgessfourParticipantlargely on the team that’s interested. If I’m OKC I could see a basis of a deal around him for the 21, mostly because OKC is really good already and they also have the 29.

prophetmeirParticipantOn 2K Anthony is a beast ! In reality no with the amount he is making no one would take him unless its for an expring contract

gforce03ParticipantI think is way too early to give up on a prospect, people had been harsh on him and Ben Mclenmore, I think these youngsters need some time to develop espeically this crop of players from last year draft. If somehow Lebron do acutally opt out and goes back to Cleveland, I can see Bennett interchange position with Lebron between the 3/4. Bennett had some good games last season but were overshawdow by a lot of games, expectations were high but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have the potential to be a tweener, given today’s game is more about 3s and physicalities. Even if he doesn’t live up to what people think he is suppose to be, we can see how effective Boris Diaw is to a team (not to forget Bennett possess 7’1 wingspan) and maybe able to mold Bennett into something similar?

FearTheStacheParticipantI remember when this whole crazy draft went down. Once the Sixers traded away Jrue Holiday, it was reported that the trade had been agreed upon, as long as Nerlens Noel fell to that 6 spot. Apparently, the Sixers were intent on doing the trade for Nerlens Noel, Victor Oladipo or Anthony Bennett, whichever one fell to 6. Although it happened to be Noel that ultimately fell, could you imagine the backlash Philly would make if they had made the same trade but had received Bennett? As if they weren’t the laughingstock of the season already

TheLastWordParticipantI’m not sure if the OP is serious or not. You would have to give picks for someone to take Bennett. He will be making over 5+ million next year escalating to 7.3 million by 2016.

FearTheStacheParticipantYou’d maybe have to take salary, but not give up picks. I would totally get him for a late teens/20’s pick. He still has more potential than virtually any player you could pick in that range.

TheLastWordParticipantWrong. Lavine, Porzingis, Capella, and maybe even McDaniels have more potential than Bennett. This draft is loaded!

FearTheStacheParticipant1. Lavine won’t go in the late teens/ 20’s at this point.
2. My point was that Bennett would be a lottery pick in this draft, assuming this year’s production is not included in the decision. Whereas, these other players, (Porzingis, Capella and McDaniels) would not be.

NeggedpastorBennett wasn’t number 1 material we knew that before his was selected.
I would take him if I was another team especially if Its a pennies on the dollar deal he has a legit 3 , great dunking/inside ability and can rebound.I heard about his sleeping problems, his eating problems., and a look at his body tells a tale as well. sounds like a player in need of direction and a chance.

tidhoParticipantCertainly isn’t worth enough to justify the Cavaliers moving him. I think they could certainly get a late 1st rounder for him though.

GrandmamaParticipantHis value right now is obviously terrible. Maybe a late teens, early 20’s pick. Maybe… Really not even worth speculation because they aren’t going to trade him after one year, and his value being so low.
