    UConn is going to have some major frontcourt and depth problems next year.

    Yeah, it will be interesting to see where he goes. I would imagine he could go to any major program he wants that has an open scholarship. There seems to be a lot of very good players transferring this year though. A lot more than I can remember than in past years.

       who so good that is transferring this year. Care to illaberate? Roscoe Smith has the pick of the litter in where he wants to continue playing..He has big time talent with NBA size..He should be going somewhere where he could be the #1 or #2 option.

    I know Alex Oriakhi will be able to play next year because he’ll be a senior next year, but do you guys know if Smith and maybe Shabazz will be able to transfer and immediately play next year?

    They’ll be juniors next year so I don’t know if there is a separate set of rules for them.

     they will be able to play because the school is on probation… same thing happened with USC football this year, kids were allowed to play right away

     Only srs are able to play right away because the ban coincides with their remaining eligibility

    Rodney Hood(was a 5* recruit last year and could potentially be a lottery pick in the future)

    Alex Oriakhi(Just a year ago he won a championship as UConns best big man)

    Josiah Turner(was a 5 * recruit last year and some projected him as a lottery pick in the preseason)

    Trey Zeigler(was a top 30 recruit coming out of highschool and put up great numbers this year)

    Mark Lyons(put up great numbers on a sweet sixteen team)

    Khem Birch(was a 5* recruit last year)

    Roscoe Smith(played a big role on a championship team)

     

    Im sure there are other players that Im missing, but most of these(except for maybe Lyons) all have a shot to play in the NBA.
