GrandmamaParticipantGuards are always going to be more susceptible to tearing their ACL for a few reasons. First, they are more explosive athletes than bigger players. It’s those explosive movements that put so much strain on knee ligaments that leads to blowing out your knee. Another reason is the amount of lateral movement they make guarding smaller/quicker players.
Same in the NFL. You’ll see more RB’s, WR’s, CB’s blow a knee out than you will O-linemen.
