i know this is going to get ripped apart especially since the 76ers have never been mentioned but i found it interesting

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6c5cqsv

    76ers lineup:

    Billups/williams

    iggy/taylor/meeks

    melo/brackins

    brand/jackson

    hawes/speights

    Nuggets:

    Lawson/carter

    turner/afflalo/redd

    Young/forbes/harrington

Laundry/martin(maybe buy his contract out?) /sanders

    Nene/anderson

    Bucks

    Jennings/boykins

    salmons/smith/delfino

    maggette/cdr

    a moute/illyasova/brockman

    bogut/gooden

    kings

    Holiday/udrih

    Evans/garcia

    Nocioni/casspi/greene

    cousins/thompson/whiteside

    dalembert/thomson/whiteside

i just think this would mix things up

And I’m sure Melo would sign an extension to play on a championship contender with Andre Iguodala and Elton Brand!

Horrible trade. Why would the nuggets accept Turner, Landry, and Young for Melo. There are 2 players that MIGHT interest the Nuggets. Turner, who I’m not even quite sure if the Nuggets even want him (I don’t think they do.) Young has a lot of upside but he never reaches his potential so there’s no advantage for the Nuggets. And then Landry, hard worker, great player for George Karl but not a lot of upside there.

Trade looks great for the Sixers and maybe the Kings. (Personally I would start Thompson at the 4 and put Cousins at the 5) For the Bucks looks okay. They get rid Redd so thats a plus, but if they only get the attitude problem and chemistry ruiner that is JR Smith then its not worth it. (They won’t get much for him, true but I’d rather have a different player than JR Smith)

And if I were the Sixers I would try and keep Nocioni. He is a blue collar worker that the fans love him as well as the Coach. Every team needs hard, blue collar workers to make the playoffs and actually do well once you get there. Yea sure the sixers would make the playoffs in that trade scenario but they won’t get very far without a player like Nocioni.

This could work if seeing as Philly has a ton of promising young talent, but they would have to be willing to completely mortgage the future and give it all away. I don’t know why you included Milwaukee, they don’t need to be in this. I like my modified version way better and thinks it works for every team, assuming Philly wants Melo bad enough to give up everyone else.

     http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6f9kfcb

Kings: Give up Thompson who seems expendable with Cousins there and take on some salary while staying way under the cap. Get a young, promising pg who has a skill set ideal compliment Evans in the backcourt.

Philly: Give up literally all young talent for three veterans. Vastly improve their starting 5 with Billups, Iggy, Melo, Harrington and Brand giving them top 4 talent in the east, but give up their bench/future to acquire it.

Nuggets: Manage to dump both their bad contracts in Balkman and Harrington and get 4 really good young prospects in return. Turner, Speights, Thompson and Young seems like a good haul for Melo and Chauncey.
