Is anyone else sick of the Dwight drama?  I think he really wants to have his own summer free agent tour like his buddies did in 2010.  He wants cameras following him as he visits different cities to hear pitches from the teams (even though he probably has decided that Brooklyn is his choice).  He could have had that this summer, but instead he stupidly signed his 1 year option because he for some reason was afraid to switch teams for half a year.

Now, as Houston is frantically making savvy moves to try and get him, there are reports that he doesn’t want to sign an extension with them.  Why exactly?  Isn’t Houston one of the biggest cities in the US?  Don’t they have a smart front office?  Don’t they have a coach who had some of the best post moves of all time?  I think it’s clear that he just wants to play for Brooklyn.  But again, then WHY DID HE SIGN THE ONE YEAR OPTION?!?!  The Magic front office/ownership isn’t stupid.  They won’t let you just walk out the door for nothing.  Why would they?

I don’t think we’ll ever really see a summer 2010 scenario again.  I think Denver set the standard for how to deal with these wishy-washy superstars (although at least Melo was a bit more clear with his intentions).

This whole thing just really annoys me.  I hope the Rockets don’t sell the farm for 1 year of Dwight.  I’d much rather see them swing deals to get Tyreke and the 5th (Drummond), Josh Smith, and some other pieces if Dwight sticks with his indecision.

I’m sick of it as well. At least Melo made it clear he didn’t want to be in Denver and stuck with it. I’ll be happy once this is all over. I hope Houston doesn’t go after him either for their sake.

I think everyone is sick of it. The only good thing is that it’s probably gonna end this offseason.

I don’t think that Dwight Howard can win without another superstar next to him.  He is limited offensively and doesn’t have that killer mentality.

Dwight’s best chance for a title would be to form a Super Team in Dallas along with Deron Williams, Dirk, and Jason Terry.  He could then be a glorified Tyson Chandler with better dunks and let Dirk, Jet, and D-Will make all the big plays and take all the clutch shots.

It is getting annoying now with Dwight not being sure where he wants to go.  He is really holding Orlando hostage and is hurting the value that Orlando can get in a trade.

For someone who we used to think was a "good guy", he sure has changed what the fans think about him and at a rapid pace. I just want it over with, he hasn’t handled any of this professionally at all. I pray to the basketball gods that Rockets don’t acquire him, it’s just going to cause more drama for another entire season.
