Kuroko No Basket is a comedia splice of life sports anime that was recommended to me by a friend that knew I’m avid basketball fan. It’s more epic then realistic. Which is all the better, in my opinoin with top ten sports center high lights.

Revolving around mainly two character that are the complete opporsite of each other in every sense of the word, on the same HS team. However, there is a lot of side characters that play important roles, and really interesting characters on opposing teams. All the Teams have entered the nation tournament. Each team has thier own identity or superstar player trying to prove whos best.

The only anime I’m watching right now is naruto shippuden and I read the manga every week. And I’m really enjoying the recent manga that shows Might Guy opening all eight gates to release his full power. With the eights gates open He is literally stronger than mandara when mandara was in his prime!!!

Also I’m about to start watching the hunter x hunter anime
Have you watched the hunter x hunter anime, and how do you like it?

I like Hunter x Hunter, currently watching the 2011 version. I used to watch the 1999 version when I was growing up in the Philippines. I remember it being one of my favorite shows on TV. I recommend it, but I don’t know if you’ll like it or not. The manga is also really good.

I haven’t watched that anime. I’ll check out the trailer in a bit.

I just started to get really into sports anime. The series that have just finshed watching is "The Big Windup" and "Yowamushi Pedal". Yeah, Guy could very well likely pass away soon. If Tsunda or some other healer doesn’t show up.

Yes. Akagi, Rukawa, Mitsui, Miyagi, and knuckle head Sakuragi. Too bad they didn’t include the main tournament part in the anime.

With Slam Dunk I had heard about it back in my younger days when Dbz and gundam were blowing up on Cartoon Network and had only read about the series until a few years ago when I found a website that lets you read manga on your smartphone.

It’s pretty much the only manga I’ve read and the only sports series I’ve been able to finish because it actually has a sense of realism. The main characters also deal with losing…something that can be extremely rare in anime.

For example I loved Hajime No Ippo (Victorious Boxers) after playing the ps2 games that originated the dodge and counter systems used in fight night…but after finally getting to read it I had to give up(it’s still going I think) because even though like slam dunk some boxers and styles were based on real fighters..the main two characters NEVER lost and it got old fast to me.

Love Kuroko! Its so cool, I watch it every sunday straight away when it comes out. People rip it a bit for being unrealistic and all but its an anime, what do you expect lol. All the boys I play with and coach watch it too, and they all end up claiming player names from it lol.

Slam Dunk is awesome too, I just got a bit annoyed with how much they dragged things out. Like one episode, I think they managed to make a full episode about 20sec of game time, just blew my mind -.- lol but it was still cool.

Also watch Bleach and Shingeki, because they are cool haha.

I’m a huge fan of Bleach also. It’s one the few long running shows that majority of the fillers are actually really good.

Yu Yu Hakusho is likely my favorite long running series.

I gave up on Attack on Titan, because I don’t think the writer knows how to explain the plot holes or how he is going to wrap it up.

Fair enough, dont think its everyones cup of tea lol. Forgot to mention the classics though like DBZ and Pokemon lol.

SS4 isn’t real so Clark Kent wins again…Goku would be in the Maury fathering hall of fame though.

If your an adult I’d recommend watching and reading the anime/Manga berserk. It’s very good, good enough to still be on for 20+  years.
