Averaging 10 points, 5 assists, 3 steals, 2 rebounds, 6 for 8 (75%) on foul shots, and 23 for 45 (51%) from three in 24 minutes a game. He was said to be the #9 best shooter in the country at the start of the season and has really gotten better on defense and passing. Any chance he gets drafted late as a good role player?

I think he’s an overseas type player, but he’s got a nice shot and good passing skills. I don’t think he’d be able to defend in the NBA though or get off many shots near the rim.

personally i think hes a decent defenders hes not gonna average three steals a game in the nba but hes a good hustle guy on d who is a great shooter hes definitely a better defender than a lot of jumpshooters personally i think he can be a decent backup player in the nba.

He’s a good college defender because he has a limited responsibilty in that conservative 2-3 zone Syracuse plays. But he won’t be much of a defender in the NBA when he has to play man-to-man against NBA level athletes.

yeah hes not a great defender but hes solid and well coached really think hes a lot like Rudy Fernandez really good passer and a good three point shooter.

I like that comparison somewhat, even though he’s not as explosive as Fernandez.

He knid of reminds me of this guy. Yes, he D is hard to messure based on the 2-3 Zone but he is a great shooter and I think he might be drafted in the 2nd round not in the 1st. He has a chance to be a specialist in the NBA and that’ll be about it. Similar to another guy name Steve Kerr.

Great topic….And on the whim, mabybe he could be one of the last five selected in the draft. Tearing his ACL was the best thing ever for him because he had to focus on other parts of his game. His defense has really improved, but has anyone noticed how he gets HURT EVERY GAME. I mean come on, one the glaring thing about him is that he isn’t durable. He also only weighs about 175 pounds and isn’t exsplosive at all. Last year he had a steal ran full speed (though it seemed as if it was jogging, lol) and got it blocked from behind. I knew then he wouldn’t be a NBA player. He’ll go to Canada where his dad is the coach of the national team.

I think Andy is a little better but I could see him in a role similar to that of what Chris Quinn was doing with the Heat
