amb1986ParticipantI’m sure there are alot of Laker fans on this site. IDK if it’s me or does Andrew Bynum not look good this year? I’m starting to think that the triangle offense was too complicated for him. He is playing a WHOLE LOT better w/o it, and not to mention his post moves has gotten wayy better! What y’all think?

RUDEBOY_ParticipantBynum is healthy..I’m afraid to say becuz he might’ve slipped in the shower before i finish committing…But in the past 3 years he’s shown that he’s capable of being 1 of the top 3 centers in the nba,he just havent been healthy….
But Steve Blake & Barnes seem to be palying better since Phil is gone…

Chilbert arenasParticipantI think Phil got in his head and unintentially or intentionally held him back psychologically

amb1986ParticipantI definitely agree with you. I didn’t mean to place a thumbs down, but you’re absolutely right.. And don’t get me wrong Phil was a GREAT coach, well probably the best coach to ever do it, in my opinion.. But, Phil had no faith in Bynum. It was strictly to Kobe and Gasol show, so he pretty much made Bynum feel like he was worthless.. If Bynum gets a cocky attiyde which is a bad thing to say, he would def be one of the most dominant in the league! I wanna see him grab a few techs to let the league kno he means bizness.. Lol, that’s bad to say but…

JoeWolf1The triangle more benefitted Pau because of the high pass flash. Bynum was dangerous because Pau was the passer he was and could often get him a look in the high low game, but it’s really not designed to showcase a guy like Bynum.
I don’t think it was too complicated for him. My high school team ran it and Bynum is an NBA vet., but I just think Brown’s pseudo triangle may prove to be a little bit better for a traditional post like Bynum.

natedogggParticipantit comes down to health, hes always shown potential and great moves/touch around the basket, but this year he is finally healthy and able to contribute 100 per cent.
Obvisouly he wont continue to put up the crazy numbers he doing now, but 18 and 10 is very reasonable.

TyroberParticipantBeing healthy has more to do with it than the system.

durantula83ParticipantHe is playing dominant like never before, and keep in mind he is only around 24 if I’m correct. If he continues like this then he’s got my vote for All-Star.

llperezbynum has shown glimpses of this for weeks at a time in the past 3 seasons. But then he usully gets hurt. Plus phil always trusted using odom more then bynum especially down the stretch so bynum rarely played the last 6-7 minutes of games. Now its looking more and more like he is the man down low. If he could put together a full season of health this year, he will challenge dwight for best center in the league. Hes already a better post up offensive scorer and hes bigger and longer.

IndianaBasketballParticipantMike Brown has A LOT of confidence in Bynum and they seem to have a very good relationship.

lalailaParticipantpeople were saying he did it just because of bad defense fron nuggets and rockets..know he did it against Camby..
it’s a sure thing that he is only health away from being 20/10 monster for years to come..
imagine he is still the same age like sophmores Wesley Johnson or Udoh

PulseGlazerParticipantHe was a beast in the first half, but he really needs to develop some counters to when people push him off his spots, as the Blazers did in the second half.
