Having an argument with a buddy…I think Andre Roberson is tha worst perimeter player in tha NBA by a wide margin. I don’t know another guy that gets 20 minutes a night that’s worse. What do you guys think??

Well he’s one of the best permiter defenders in the nba so you are wrong. He is also starting to hit the 3 consistently. Most of his impact doesn’t show on the stat sheets tho.

I don’t watch enough OKC to have a real concrete opinion on this but I wouldn’t consider Roberson to be "one of the best" defenders on the wing.
Guys I’d consider better than him on the wing would include:
George, Kawhi, Butler, LeBron, Thompson, Deng, Carroll, Crowder, Middleton, Courtney Lee, Danny Green, Iggy, Ariza, Tony Allen, Harry Barnes, Batum, Wes Matthews, Sefolosha and Avery Bradley.
That’s semi-off the top of my head. I’d take all those guys for their defensive prowess over Roberson.
That’s 19 guys…there might be more too. That’s not elite to me.

Def one of the better perimeter defenders in the league can defend 1-4 and is a excellent role player for the thunder. Lee, Middleton, Green, Matthews,and Barnes are def not better defenders.

As a Thunder fan is can tell you Roberson is at best a cringe-worthy player. Mediocre defender, he’s no Sefolosha (who isn’t amazing either but still). Atrocious shooter, he’s the type of player when they put up a shot you know it’s going to miss, and the rare times it does go in you celebrate like you just won the lottery, because that’s about how often it goes in.
The only plus side about him is that he is a pretty good rebounder for a wing, that’s about the only thing he’s above average at.
