DukeBlue22ParticipantAndre Dawkins by far has one of the best 3 pt shots in college basketball. Can he be a pro? I think he can be a 2nd rounder or undrafted FA, who can catch on with a team and be a 3pt specialist. I know he has to work on creating his own shot more, but I think he can be on an NBA roster next season.

SpartanGloryParticipantJodie Meeks has been on a few teams. Seem like pretty similar players.

ChewyParticipantis he really legitimately 6’5?! He looks like he 6’2 out there. I was going to talk about his toughness in guarding bigger players, but at 6’5 with his strength he will surely be able to guard NBA SGs. I don’t see him ever being in the 1st round, but could be a second rounder.
If Seth Curry can get multiple NBA Summer League and Roster looks, then Dawkins should as well.

Mr. ChicagoParticipantI agree, I think he will get a look in the second round or as an undrafted free agent. The reason I think he has been slept on some is his year away from the game, and people just forgetting about him as a shooting specialist.
Huge kudos for the guy for being able to pull himself together after the death of his sister, Lacey; she was killed en route to see him play.

ChrispyParticipantShooting is always at a premium in the NBA, plus he is a better ball handler than people give him cedit for. Add that he is one of the highest character kids in college, meaning that teams will have no qualms about giving him summer invites and eventually camp invites. Worst comes to worst for him, if he decides to not take overseas money, he will be one of the first D-League call ups. Guaranteed.

surveParticipanthe had legitmate NBA potential when he got to Duke but he never developed. as a HSer he could put the ball on the floor and that is something he shouldve worked on in college. he has good leaping ability, but I dont see how it helps him since he cant really put the ball on the floor like he should. handle still shaky. lateral quickness is limited. the biggest difference with him this year is he is not as streaky as he was as a junior.
he still can cut it in the league if he finds the right team because he is a legit 6’5" in shoes I believe. He looks about an inch taller than Sulaiman and no more than 2 inches shorter than Hood.
he needs to get with a good NBA pre-draft trainer. he’s gonna play somewhere professionally and I think he can make it in the league. but he needs some work if he is going to be a Meeks type contributor.

hoopgeniusParticipantHe plays for the Olympic Team coach and is an elite shooter. He will get looks from a # of teams just off that alone! Doubt he sticks in the league though, he will struggle on the defensive end.

ncballerI am a UNC fan and am very happy for him. He has been through a lot of adversity with his sister dying and depression etc. Really happy for the year he is having! I think he could play a Jimmer role in the NBA. Give a 10 to 15 min spurt of 3 point shooting for some teams.
