bobbybParticipantI am a Suns fan and the only thing that would work out in that deal is if they get Splitter. But what is the Guarantee that he will come. I read an article that he is doing very well in Spain and doesnt want to end up like Rudy making little money

doubledribblerParticipantI would say there is no guarantee. There are a lot of guys, especially European players that want to come to the NBA but don’t until later on their careers. It’s probably going to be hard for him to come over because he was picked in the first round and would be making money based on the rookie scale plus paying taxes. He probably makes quite a bit more right now and is probably paying little to no taxes on it. If he was picked in the second round, it would have been much easier to get him over here because a team could give him a competitive deal.
Personally, I would love to see the guy come over. I think if the Suns can get him without having to take back any bad contracts they should probably go for it. It’s going to be hard to get much for Amare just because he may not re-sign. San Antonio really doesn’t have any good young players besides Parker, Hill and Blair and I don’t see Parker getting traded straight up for him and Blair is too much of a bargain.
