HaleParticipantI’ve been waiting for someone to bring him up, but no one has so I will. Does anyone know anything about the new prodigy Andre Drummond? He looks like a taller younger Amare or Dwight although I won’t go and say he is at that level yet and may never be. Can anyone tell me about his game?

blazer_fan_foreverParticipantnbadraft-stop hyping the kid…Just because he’s 6,10 and is athletic that doesn’t mean he’s Dwight or Amare. Espn has him ranked 9th so thats something to be said.

MagikKnickParticipantHe 16, a physical freak, and hes 6’10, he has all the little things that Dwight has, but as of right now that comparison is crazy…
Not saying he cant live up to it, but you dont compare a 16 year old to one of the best Centers in the NBA right now…you just dont o_O

QHaynes20he is good and right now, he can be a great player down the line but I saw nothing really super special from him to be honest.

HaleParticipantI didn’t mean to compare them I am just saying he is a freak athlete and that height. Only those two guys stand out in the NBA for being the same.

QHaynes20i saw him play a couple games. I like him but he is really Raw IMO, he needs to get a little jumper and then we could be talking superstar
I see him more of a Chris Bosh

QHaynes20he actually has a crossover. He can rebound well, passing is ok. I gotta see some more tape on him tho

QHaynes20My Dad work on the West Coast and he knows guys who scout out there.
My Uncle played Football at SU and talked to the coaching staff to let me see tapes and travel with the team next year

blazer_fan_foreverParticipantCould be a good battle in the future between the two…There are currently 3 other bigs ranked higher than Andre…which is a little weird to be honest. Either espnn hasn’t updated the rankings or he has some holes he needs to fill. Also, they described him as a “good” athlete. Not a physical speciman. I would bet money that he isn’t a Dwight Howard type of athlete of Oden type of athlete to be honest…Still impressive that he’s so big. Listed at 250+.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantIsn’t he the same age as Gilchrist and McAdoo? I’m not sure why he isnt in their class. In his senior year he’ll be beating up on inferior athletes younger than him just like Wall did this past year.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantI’m questioning why he chose to go down a class. Is he afraid of the competition from the 2011 class? Does he realize how raw his game is and needs more time to polish his HS game? I think those are legit questions that need to be answered before we proclaim him the next Howard or even the next Eddie Curry.
