    You wanted Alec Burks all along…. and we got him.

     

    I would have taken Leonard, but I guess maybe that’s just me. I hope Burks is as good as you thought he’d be. 

     

    All and all, as a Jazz fan, I’m not thrilled. I wanted We got the #3, and 15 guys on my big board. I wanted Derrick Williams. I wanted Jimmer. 

     

    Gratefully though, Kevin OConner knows more than me.

    I wanted Knight and Burks, but thats because Enes seems completely unknown to me. I guess this means Al Jefferson doesn’t factor long term with the Jazz and they may shop him in the next year or two since it’d be insane to have your #3 pick come off the bench for a couple years, and you don’t pay big Al 13 mill a year to come off the bench either. Something has to give, they both share the same position.

    I know as a Jazz fan I’m more than happy. We get the best center in the draft and the best sg too. Burkes play making and athletism will fit right in I’m Utah.

     Will we win the championship next year? Nope. But what we added is a big who along with Derek Favors will give us a very skilled and athletic and BIG front court for the a long time. Then add Burks to Hayward in our back court for the future. I like where we are going. I hope we grab either Kendall Marshall or Myck Kabango next year to run that pick and roll. Also can we please trade Jefferson now?? PLEASE!?
