RickyRubio9ParticipantA number of teams, while many thought he wasn’t going to get any interest it seems that the Heat’s main man Riley has contacted him as well as Charlotte and the idea of Memphis is there too. There’s also the sign and trade idea of Ben Gordon for Allen Iverson. Where do you all think he’d be the best fit?
Does Wade even want him in Miami? Memphis??? With Mayo and Rudy, only one basketball. Charlotte seems to be the best and lastly with the Bulls why would they do that? Him around their young players can’t be good could it? What do you guys think?0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/03/2009 - 8:46am #175211

Knicksboy34ParticipantI think he should go to….San Antonio. If Splitter comes over and Wallace spurns them for Boston…AI should be on the top of the list.

RickyRubio9Participantto San Antonio? A team with Richard Jefferson, Tony Parker, Manu, Tim Duncan. Their guards are Michael Finley and The 2nd Year Point Guard whos name escapes me now.
meaning Iverson would have to come off bench because I doubt they’d start him at the 2.0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/03/2009 - 8:52am #175222

RickyRubio9ParticipantGeorge Hill and they also have Roger Mason Jr., along with their draftees Nani Colon or whatever and Jack McClinton both whom are guards.

MattissickParticipantYeah i’ve been saying San Antonio all along. Popovic and Duncan can instill some discipline in him. He can back up the wings and the point and be a good scorer off the bench like Terry.
Parker/Iverson
Ginobili/Iverson
Jefferson/Ginobili
Blair/bonner
Duncan/Bonner0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/03/2009 - 8:59am #175227

RickyRubio9Participantwould be stupid to get him, they are fine at every spot except the bigs, a back up center is what they need. Duncan would break down again if no one is signed. Iverson wouldn’t go there anyways, dude thinks he is a starter still and a scorer. Just too many scorers

RickyRubio9ParticipantA.I to the Rockets? He could sign a one year deal or so and brings some excitement to our city. We could start him at the two, but our backcourt would be small. Aaron Brooks and Allen Iverson with Battier and Scola, all we need is a Center. It looks good if Iverson really is the same player.
PG-Aaron Brooks/Kyle Lowry
SG-Iverson/Wafer (If Resigned)
SF- Battier/Ariza
PF-Scola/Landry/Hayes
C- ???
Also on the team, Budinger and Taylor if signed. McGrady and Yao…out, but if Yao is back man that would be scary.0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/03/2009 - 9:14am #175237

gatorheelsParticipantIverson is a bit of a mystery. You have to think he really wants to go to a contender. So all the rumors about him going to the Grizzlies just isnt going to happen IMO. I would say a team like Miami or Dallas will get Iverson.

torontoraptors10ParticipantIverson to the Rockets doesn’t sound like a bad idea. My only concern is if Houston can afford him? How much do you think Iverson would want on the market?

RickyRubio9ParticipantI don’t know how much Iverson is looking for…probably a little over the MLE well that’s what teams will give, but he thinks hes worth more
