Just wanted to compile a list of some NBA records mostly just for your guy’s info, but also to discuss which one’s you think can/will be broken.

    game/ season/ all time
Points: 100 (Wilt Chamberlain) 50.4(Wilt Chamberlain) 38,387 (Kareem Abdul Jabbar)

rebounds: 55 (Wilt Chamberlain) 27.2(Wilt Chamberlain) 23,924 (Wilt Chamberlain)

assists: 30 (Scott Skiles) 14.5 (John Stockton) 15,806 (John Stockton)

blocks: 17 (Elmore Smith) 5.56 (Mark Eaton) 3,830 (Hakeem Olajuwon)

    steals:11(Larry Kenon/Kendall Gill) 3.67 (Alvin Robertson) 3,265 (John Stockton)

    3’s:12(Kobe Bryant/Donyell Marshall) 269 (Ray Allen) 2,560 (Reggie Miller)

Anyways, which ones do you think are untouchable? And which ones do you think are most beatable?

all of the rebound records are untouchable. There were a lot more shot attempts back in the 60’s so there were plenty of guys grabbing 20+ rpg which is unheard of nowadays. I think someone could potentailly pass Kareems total career points, but the 50 ppg and the 100 should be untouchable. The threes and assist records could all be passed with the threes being the most likely.

Nobody is touching Hundo pts or 30 dimes those numbers are sick and its funny that skiles who was more known as a shooter would hold the record….if anyone could pull hundo would have to be Kobe but it’s so much harder as a wing than a dominant big in a time when big men weren’t that prevolent….dimes i have to say deron has the best chance…he’s not the best PG (Paul) but he has better options on the wing..*Mo-Pete or Korver etc* *Peja over Brewer but in general Utah plays faster and has much more scoring options in general…..

In that game, Wilt took 63 fg’s and 32 free throws. That is crazy, and I don’t think any player has probably taken even 50 fg’s in a game in the last 20 years.

reggie miller’s career three points made is beatable, ray ray has a solid chance, 2299 3pts made already to reggie’s 2560. 261 3pointers are not far off.

No one will score 100 points in a game or average over 50pts a game. I think the all time points leader is going down though. If Jordan wouldnt have retired twice he would have the most points record.

rebounding records untouchable like someone mentioned before.

I think someone could break the assists in a game record but not the14.5 average or total assists for a career.

Y i think one’s most likely to be broken are all of the 3 point records. The current game is just too dependent on that eventually there’s going to be players who can do 12 in a game or 270/year. RayRay will break miller’s mark btw cuz i think he’s still got 3 years left due to his great health. The assist/game mark might be broken some day but not all time assists. No way the points or rebounds are touched. No one will be able to play for 20 years like kareem and all of wilt’s numbers are just insane.
