knicksfan7ParticipantSo many times on this site we’re asking each other who would you rather have between player a and player b or who is better between the two. What I would really love to see during the All-Star Weekend is a 2 on 2 or a 3 on 3 tournament. How awesome would it be to see like Chauncey Billups-Carmelo Anthony-Kenyon Martin vs. Russell Westbrook-Kevin Durant-Jeff Green in a game up to 11, no refs, call your own fouls. There is so much stuff these players can do that we will never see them do in an NBA game. If I were David Stern I would consider this because the casual fan would definitely love to watch it. I know I would as a hard core fan.

DanEboyParticipantI always thought that there should be 1 on1 competitions where fans could vote to pit two players against each other. LeBron vs Kobe, Paul vs Deron, Howard vs Shaq, etc. That would be so much more fun to watch than any other event.

knicksfan7ParticipantYeah, but I don’t think the players would buy into a 1 on 1 matchup because of there egos, and then regular season games would turn into a whole 1 on 1 matchup as redemption. I like the idea of fan voting though. I think fans should vote for 1 player on 1 team, and from there the player picks another 2 players on his team for a 3 on 3. I think it could make rivalries in the NBA better. Also, the teams that get invited, say 6 teams players would take it as a honor to be able to participate in.

bdoody42ParticipantThe AND ONE Team would bring fans to watch I think seeing people who can play on the street vs. the up and coming players in the league. Just to get people to watch is all.

darkman97ParticipantTo me they are just a modern version of the Harlem Globetrotters. The double dribbles, carrying the ball and traveling just gets annoying in my eyes.

quinceyhodgesi would like the idea of one on one better but id also like 2 on 2 as well but honestly do you really think they would really go that hard. they would go alot harder in a 2 on 2 or one on one during the offseason during open gym then at the all star game.

quinceyhodgespersonally i think they shoyuld forget th east and west and just have 2 coaches pick there team after the fans vote who should be the 10 starters

darkman97Participantone thing I did want them to do is pick the regular adverage joes that ball on the playground to do the dunk contest with. They would go hard and the money would actually mean something to them. They would have to change the bogus judging system they currently have. Maybe an online voting or phone call voting like on American Idol.
