ThenilonatorParticipantLast years all star game was definitely an improvement from years past but I would like to see the all star game changed to USA v Rest of the world. Immediately this makes it more competitive while still being a show case event. Years past you couldn’t do it due to lack of depth but with the NBA truly global now, why not? The world team would look something like this:
– Simmons
– Wiggins
– Giannis
– Porzingis
– Jokic
Embiid, Horford, Saric, Ingles, Gobert, Markkanen, Dragic, Hield, Mirotic, Sabonis, Murray
Vucevic, Gallinari, Valenciunas, Rubio, Hield, Batum, Gasol, Adams

RUDEBOY-ParticipantI kinda agree with that idea. But the talent level for the World team drops significantly after about 7 or 8 players. U would get so many Complaints if Joe Ingles,Sabonis,Hield R on an All Star team and players like Lilliard,CP3,Aldridge and Klay are not!

BeardedDragon84ParticipantThis is the only necessary answer. Usa vs world could definitely be more competitive but the last few selections on the world team would be undeserving.

The GoatParticipantIf we look at who would be in the all star game anyway, I think there will be 6-8 world players for sure already but in a few years time it’ll definitely be the case that it may be the best format for the ASG.
Doncic and Ayton will join this list, then the class of 2019 and 2020 will both add to it.
