I have a feeling that the Thunder are going to improve a ton this year, and Durant will lead the league in scoring, which will catapult him to the 1st team.

They do it just by G and F not PG and SG, so i had Deron on the 3rd team because hes behind Roy, Kobe, Paul, Wade

IMO, Jefferson will be a C this year.

The dude has mad game and is deserving of an all-star nod, but name the last All-Nba first or 2nd teamer on a team that won less than 30 games…

Great point about playing on a team that won 30 games or less….

I decided to do some research. Mitch Richmond made the All-NBA 2nd team in the 1993-1994 season in which the Kings only won 28 games. He also made the 2nd team in 1996-1997, but the Kings won 34 games that year.

There may be someone before him, but by first glance Mitch was the only player I quickly recognized as being a great player on a poor team.

I was going to have Devin Harris on the 3rd team, but i felt that Rondo would get it because the Celtics are big contenders.

And, I am a Raptors fan, but can I hear your reasoning on Bosh as a 1st teamer?

QHaynes, I really don’t see how Andrew Bynum could make the 2nd team, unless Kobe, Ron, Lamar, and Pau all get hurt for extended periods during the season.

I like your list. I would just flip Paul and Wade and then add Al Jefferson over Shaq on the third team.

I had Jefferson on the third team, but decided to change it to Shaq right before I posted. Paul and Wade could be flipped, but I like Paul for now.

D-Will should make that list! There’s no way he’s not included there, he’s gonna bounce back from a injury-barred year last season and he is going to hit it big again this year… He should be either on the first or second team…
