R-Dot-13ParticipantOk, I know this may be a little off topic, but I felt like it was a topic that we could have a bit of fun with .

G: Shaquille O’neal
C: Kevin Love

MLB: Craig Smith
OLB: Matt HarpringCB: Nate Robinson

What do you think?0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:32pm #199494

MagikKnickParticipantput Nate at CB
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:33pm #199495

R-Dot-13ParticipantYeah i was going to, but when it came down to writing him in, i forgot him .
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:34pm #199496
Michael.S.ParticipantYao at WR. hahahaha , nobodys catching Interceptions
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:36pm #199497
zhgzsteinParticipantbut no Olinemen ever has been taller than 6’8, so it would be mostly players with tractor traylor type builds that could be linemen in the league
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:36pm #199498

MagikKnickParticipantForreal..
Yao and Manute Bol at WRLMAO
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:39pm #199499

IndianaBasketballParticipantThat offensive line is beastly, but the linebackers are kinda weak tho lol. You need to find room for Reggie Evans and Craig Smith on defense! Derrick Rose would be a nickel back on defense lol.
Kevin Durant and Chris Bosh at DE LOL!!! Too skinny! & put Big Baby at DT.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:41pm #199503

R-Dot-13ParticipantLOL yeah i know, i did the defense quickly .
I put more thought into the Offense0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:42pm #199504
McWinningParticipantRon Artest would be a beast at linebacker.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:44pm #199505

L.ShapParticipantI love this.
The O-line may be a little too big however.T-Kevin Love
G-Glen Davis
C-Chuck Hayes
G-Dejuan Blair
T-Leon Powe0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:48pm #199510

IndianaBasketballParticipantOuch… Running the ball between the left guard and left tackle would be SUICIDE. I don’t know who’s knees would go out first! Blair’s or Powe’s!
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:48pm #199511

JNixonParticipantBen Gordon at Running Back. Dude is swole
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:49pm #199512

MagikKnickParticipantOh, and steve Nash would be the Kicker
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:50pm #199514

R-Dot-13ParticipantYeah i had him as it, i must have forgotten to put a kicker, but definetly Nash.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:51pm #199516

IndianaBasketballParticipantAt 6′ 3″ 222 lbs, I think Eric Gordon deserves a spot on the team. Probably at backup running back.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:52pm #199517

Meditated StatesParticipantGuess cause he is not in the league anymore I can’t take Charlie Ward at QB. Dude won the hesiman.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:53pm #199518

R-Dot-13ParticipantYeah theres tons of people i could have used as backups..
I just didnt do them..Possibilities
RB: Eric Gordon/Ben Gordon
CB: TJ Ford/ Brandon Jenningsall could be there
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:57pm #199521
conartist85ParticipantHe shouldnt be a WR on this team over Kobe Bryant.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:58pm #199522
Michael.S.Participantthis is football not basketball
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 5:00pm #199524

R-Dot-13Participantwhat do you guys think?
Superbowl?0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 5:01pm #199523

R-Dot-13ParticipantI felt Melos height and athleticism gave him an advantage.
Kevin Durant is a possibility too
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 5:02pm #199525

MagikKnickParticipantNahh, we’d have too much fumbles because someone will always try and dribble the ball, lmao
0- Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 5:05pm #199528
conartist85Participantim not sold on Perkins and Love on the Line…wouldnt be better on subbing in Elton Brand (if hes healthy:) and a guy like Udonis Haslem?
im probaly just over thinking this….but not a bad list.

0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 5:05pm #199527

R-Dot-13ParticipantHaha, true
maybe we should have some hustle players liek Anderson Varajao to dive on the ground and pick up the ball every play then lmao0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 5:09pm #199530
FrankBlackBoiallen iverson is the michael vick dual threat nice and nash as kicker and punter that is great
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 5:10pm #199531
McWinningParticipantyou have to be trained right to play in the Nfl and the games different than the Nba i think that team would be pretty good but not super good.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 5:11pm #199532
Michael.S.ParticipantWOW guys Kevin Love should be the QB, haha ( outlet pass )
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 5:38pm #199540

HaleParticipantDwight and Wade would get manhandled at their positions listed haha. Everything else looks good (except Boozer). Good job though overall though.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 5:58pm #199544
j1232eParticipantall his family played football. He was a beast at outside linebacker in high school.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 6:11pm #199546
doubledribblerParticipantI’m not going to agree with everyone on the list, but overall it’s a nice list. I would pay to watch two teams of NBA guys playing all out. Your line might be a little too tall though, especially for Iverson to throw over. I see Shaq dominating though. No one is going to get past him. He’s too big and strong. I think the only guys that I would argue with you on are Carmelo, Evans and Craig Smith. Great job though. I’m going to try to compile a team if I get some time.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 6:16pm #199548
j1232eParticipantmight make it to half time playing T. He would fake an injury on a 40 yard play so he wouldn’t have to run back to the line of scrimage.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 6:18pm #199549

llperezDon’t leave Matt Barnes out on this one. He was one of the top wr’s in highschool and he has threatened on numerous occasions, both at UCLA and in the NBA, to leave basketball to go play in the NFL. Dude led the state of california in TD’s his senior year at Del Campo.

jeff416ParticipantNo Derrick Rose? He would be a beast in football with his speed and strength.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 7:51pm #199578
SwatLakeCityParticipantI’d put LBJ at QB, and AI at RB, with Dwade as another RB(I know LBJ played QB in highschool and was pretty good. So was AI at RB. Then I would put Durant at WR at LBJ’s spot. I wouldn’t even put Booze on the team, (although I loved your comment on him j232e, that is so true.) The rest of the positions are good. If we do this then I think we might be talking Superbowl, that’s if we get everyone to stop dribbling the ball or trying to Dunk on the field goal post(Maybe they can do that for touchdown celebrations, but that’s it) This would be a very interesting team to watch. How many games would be on National television?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 7:57pm #199581

llpereziverson was actually a very good QB in highschool, not a RB. And I don’t like him as a RB because he weighs like 160 and would go down on first contact every time. LeBron might be a good QB as well, but with his physical gifts, I would want to see hm at WR or TE. And good job to adjose5 for bringing in Blair and Brockman into this discussion. Those guys are as tough as they come.
My question is special teams, onside kick, kicking team, who in the nba do you know is gonna go and get that ball?

the_shamwow_guyParticipantIf you would put yao ming in the defensive line no one could over the top of him he is also suprisingly fairly strong so he would be capabable of holding his own
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/12/2009 - 3:12am #199609
McWinningParticipantdont forget about Chalmers, he could be a good cornerback. ALSO put Brian Scaabrine in as the waterboy.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantChalmers would lead the league in picks, Bird, you’re right
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/12/2009 - 5:48am #199648
thepoopsmithParticipantI’d throw in Yao and D12 to block FGs and PATs
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/12/2009 - 5:57am #199653
darkman97ParticipantWell I would always put yao ming in to block field goals. Gotta add retired oliver miller and gary trent on the d or o line. Zach randolph in there too.
