balltilifall5ParticipantIf you could fill 10 roster spots with–in your opinion–the best NBA bench players who would it be.
I would have to go with:
PG-Ty Lawson, although just a rookie, Lawson is lighting in a bottle and one of the hungriest players in the league.
SG-JR Smith. Although typically a SG, it was too hard for me to leave out he or Manu, JR Smith may be the most talented bench player in the NBA
SF-Manu, Ginobli is probably my favorite bench player in the NBA…could start for any team
PF- Dejaun Blair, averagin 8 and 6 in 18 minutes is incredible production, imagine what he could do should he be given starters mins.
C- Marcin Gortat, i think it is pretty understood that Gortat is the best backup C in the leagueBench
G-Jamal Crawford, great scoring punch of the bench
G-Darren Collison, Chris Paul’s new backup 🙂
G-Shannon Brown, all the tools necessary to be a great SG in the league, can even run the point.
F-Birdman, the epitomy of a spark of the bench, birdman is one of the most exciting players in the NBA
C-Channing Frye, can spread the floor at the 5 spot, not conventional center but in Gortat, Bird, and DJ Blair you have enough guys that love to mix it up in the paint.I think this squad would definitely be a playoff team in the east, somewhere around 45 wins, what do you think. Make your own team and predictions!

SlimParticipanta year ago I would have put Kleiza on there at SF
does Kirilenko start?
anyways James Johnson has some potential, that lineup needs some size for defense

JoeWolf1I personally think Brad Miller is the best backup center in the league. He has been starting because Noah has been hurt, but I’d take him over Gorat any day. Also with Brandon Haywood in Dallas, I’d take him or Gorat also.

butidonthavemoneyAK-47 does start.
Does Hinrich start at shooting guard or does he come off the bench?

DanEboyParticipantHinrich has been starting for most of the season.
And is Love starting now? because I would have him over Blair in a heartbeat.
Marcus Thornton is another guy who comes to mind.
Landry is starting now but he did come off the bench for more games then he started…just sayin

RickyRubio9ParticipantKyle Lowry get any Consideration? Shane Battier?? James Harden (I think he’s coming off the bench)

midwestbbscoutParticipantF Odom
C Miller
G Hinrich
G JR Smith
G Crawfordhad to go 3 guards just because there are 15 guards better than the next forward….I would like to pick Collison but his production will surely go down now.,…I’m not going to base my picks on what he did when he was starting….and tough to leave off Manu…..

rtbtParticipantWhen Tyreke Evans is healthy, doesn’t Beno Udrih come off the bench? If that’s the case, after all of the verbal abuse he took before the season started, he’s turned into my sleeper at backup PG.

DanEboyParticipantI am pretty sure Hinrich has started more games then he has come off the bench this year.
And for the record, I can’t stand Brad Miller. I can’t wait for Noah to get back at full speed.

midwestbbscoutParticipantthat Brad Miller got screwed when the refs waved off his 0.8 buzzer beater against Denver….I know off topic but it still chaps my a**
