jwall1ParticipantI think Big Al deserves more recognition this year. He has made Charlotte a better team and as of late is putting up ridiculous numbers (27pts, 12reb, 2.5ast, 1.3blks) in his last 10 games. I honestly thinks he deserves to be an allstar, what do you guys think?

Jester87ParticipantI’m still amazed how Steve Clifford has been able to build a decent defense with him. Great job. He’s definitely been balling.

aivsdirkParticipantall-star in my opinion. I mean MKG misses a third of the season, Jeffrey Taylor goes out while mkg is almost back and then kemba goes down. Big Al keeps acsending his play however his team needs.I have always thought he was an elite center, obviously more for his scoring but still, isnt it sad that he goes to the Eastern conference with lesser teams and centers. Then the all-star ballot erases centers. I thought he would make it one day, but it seems fate’s future for his all-star selection keeps growing darker and darker. I really hope he makes it though. If he doesnt it shows us how you the nba is slowly devalueing the use centers.
I mean seriously why are so many bigs not being taught any post moves. Its like they are being raised to be big bodies who waste half their energy running around setting screens. Then they are asked to do so much on defense. They even look awkward trying to post up. This is an epidemic from high school to college to the nba. To you the conventional big man of old, who when great and used properly could easily get 22 and 11 we salute you.

Checkbook_docParticipantBig Al is deserving. I think his team is overachieving and he has been the biggest reasons for it.
It is not just on the court, he is a great for a locker room too. His personality is big but non-abrasive and he gets teammates to pull together. Imagine what Cleveland would be like if they had somebody like that on their team!

TyroberParticipantEven though Charlotte is only 20-27 they are in the playoffs. I think the coaches will award the old Jazz teammates and have both Millsap and Jefferson as allstars this year.

CodySLCParticipantI always loved this guy when he was in Utah. His defense has definitely improved this season and he’s the man down low for Charlotte. I’m rooting for him and Paul Millsap to get their first all star nod. I fell like they were deserving in years past, but with the deep West they always seemed to get snubbed.

joecheck88ParticipantAs the reserves come out we see Noah in the game and no Jefferson. Who would you have taken? I’ve really got no problem with Noah making it but not sure he should be in over Big Al.
