JaeEvolutionParticipantMarc J. Spears tweeted earlier that Al Horford would NOT return at all during post-season play due to his pectoral shoulder injury.
Now just a few minutes ago he updated saying he will not only play in post-season but begin playing the last regular season game for the Hawks vs Dallas…
I don’t know what to make of this because Al Horford said a few days ago he was frustrated with his rehab process. All I’ve heard about this injury is that it is pretty rare for athletes so I don’t know the limitations of what his playing ability would be. But for a Center/PF that has to bang in the post to get his points I don’t know if I can fully trust the recent news that he is good to go. The game against Dallas will hopefully show what he can do physically and if he will truly be ready for the post-season grind.
Thoughts?

IndianaBasketballParticipantUnless he’s 100% healthy, I don’t really see the point in returning. Strengthen it and then get ready for next season. The Hawks have no shot at winning a title regardless.

AKOOParticipantThe Hawks have a very good shot of getting to the Eastern Conference Finals if he is healthy.

PulseGlazerParticipantThe Hawks have zero shot of getting to the ECW whether he’s healthy or not. Just stop.
