So Reggie Evans is going to be back to the Toronto lineup after the allstar break, and i was wondering whether Jay Triano will play Reggie or Amir Johnson, Amir has been playing very well lately. If you are the coach, who do you play more?

I would play Amir more to begin with and give evans spot minutes until he is back into game shape. Then leave the playtime to whoever is bringing more energy on the court. Personally i like Amir more in the long term as he is still quite young and could develop into a Udonis Haslem kinda player in the right circumstances.

Looking at Johnson this season, he looks a LOT like Tyrus Thomas in his Rookie season. Considering he’s only turning 23, might want to lock him up for a few more seasons. That being said, I wouldn’t give too many minutes to Reggie Evans from the get go, unless he shows that he PWNs Johnson.

Reggie can be the macadamia nut inside the white chocolate chip cookie that is the Toronto Raptors as he adds a surprising crunch to a cookie so smooth.

it’ll certainly be an interesting situation that will develop in a few weeks.

I think the Raptors are close to starting a youth movement (just an opinion) so i would stick with amir johnson.
