I have heard that AI is close to being signed. So far the finalists are the Heat, bobcats, and the Knicks in that order. I really hope he goes to the Heat, because I think he would be a great fit there, if not then the Bobcats would be my second choice. Anyways, I remember that the Heat were planning on making a push for Boozer, once the got Odom, well it turns out they lost Odom. So i was wondering, If the Heat do sign AI, would they once again make a push for Boozer, and send Beasley, and Richardson to the Jazz for Booze(Yes, richardson is traded a 5th time, but if this trade does happen, then he will probably be waived, but that is not the point.) Personally i think the heat should make a push for Boozer if they get AI, because a combination of Dwade, AI, Booze, Chalmers, and Jermaine, would be deadly, and certainly keep Dwade in Miami, but that’s just me. Do you guys see the Heat pushing for Booze if they are able to sign AI first?

while i would definitely do that trade if i was utah, that trade could lead to some hilarious results. could you imagine looney tune mike beasley playing for jerry sloan. i’m laughing just thinking about it. would be very entertaining though and hopefully sloan could get through to him and bring out the best in him

I’m not sure why everyone thinks he fits in Miami. Iverson would obviously be starting if he goes there, but Iverson is a gunner meaning he is going to be taking shots from Wade and a developing Beasly and time from Chalmers and Cook. I can understand that Miami is horribly short on talent, but A.I. is not the Answer for them. That team needs a lot more help than just one person and I’m not sure he makes them much better. I don’t think it makes sense to get slightly better for one year at the cost of team chemistry and the development of younger players unless you are competing for the title.

You took the words right out of my mouth. If Nate leaves, then I think Iverson would be a good fit with the Knicks. He can put up some great numbers in that style of offense. As for the Heat, they need to let Beasley and Chalmers develop, even if that means missing out on a couple of free agents.

hahaha no way the heat give up one of the best prospects in the nba right now in beasley, for boozer who is a often injured, already semi washed up power forward with character issues. This post sounds like wishful thinking by a jazz fan, unfortunately everyone knows the jazz want to dump boozer badly and if the jazz plan on trading him right now they wont get much. Maybe richardson and a 1st if anything.

plus i agree AI would not mesh well with wade in the same backcourt, miami needs a good 4 or 5, they are okay at the 1,2,3 positions and just added some depth at guard with qrich
