If this guy falls anything past #14 it is a absolute steal.  I have never felt that every shot was going to go in other than Stephen Curry.  Seriously when he spots up for a 3 it is almost automatic it feels.  Complete offensive game and relentless rebounder.  This guy will be a lottery pick by the end of this tourny.  Forget upside, he will contribute right now

Finally, somebody agrees with me on Adrien Payne!!!

However I most certainly do not trust him as much as Steph Curry on 3 pt shots lol.

He is also the all time leader in blocked shots for MSU, and has NEVER missed a free through in the NCAA tournament. I think he reminds me a lot of Robert Horry.

The Sixers trade up and Snag him with one of the Bulls or Suns picks.  Dude is solid!  Old man game.

Well  clearly just an exaggeration but still it seems he always takes "Smart" 3’s.  They are always wide open and never force.

I could see him being a Taj Gibson type of player. He could help out a lot of teams right away.

I think he can give a team a lot of what Markieff Morris does. He has the ability to both play tough on the interior and stretch the floor. A lot of stretch 4’s are soft or afraid to throw their weight around and Payne give you both.

i honestly thought he was gnna become big ten player of the year before his injury… im not even shocked he scored tht much… if u wouldve told me his freshmen yr he would have a 41 point tourney game anytime during his career… i wouldve never believed it… the amount hes improved over four years is crazy… his awareness on offense and defense his freshmen yr were awful… ima really be pushing for this guy at the next level

A perfect example of how staying in school can really help you develop as a player. I believe hes a top 15 pick. I am really rooting for him at the next level.

Anyone else thinks he can be a poor man’s sheed? I really think he could start right away on some teams.

I do think he’ll be a solid stretch four in the NBA but let’s not overreact to a career-high performance. He averaged 15 points this year but today he scored 41. He normally doesn’t shoot it quite like that.

Payne is better than Robert Horry and Taj Gibson.

I really like Gibson’s game, but Taj way a 25 year old rookie. Adrien’s prime will be much better.

You know Horry has 7 rings, right?…….You’re projecting this guy(who in all fairness had a great game) to have a better careet than a 7 time NBA champ? Come on, Dude. Come back to earth. Do you even have any idea how hard it is to have an NBA careet long enough to even have a chance to win 7 titles? Not only did he play 16 years and win 7 titles, he was known for being one of the most clutch players ever, hence the name "Big Shot Bob". I’m sure Payne will do fine in the NBA, but playing 16 years and wining 7 titles might be a bit over the top.

I like him because unlike most stretch fours he won’t be a liability on defense.  He has the size and athleticism to defend almost any power forward in the NBA.
