reese23ParticipantI personally feel Oliver is the best senior guard in America and should be a lottery pick. At 6’4 with a 6’9 wingspan, solid athleticism, very tight handle for a shooting guard, and the ability to play the point at the next level, he is the complete package for a guard prospect.
Obviously he can flat out score. Needs to improve his ability to lock down other guards and continue to hone his pg skills. I see him falling somewhere in the late lottery to 20’s range.
Thoughts on the former Washington Husky guard (who Romar called the next Brandon Roy)?

reese23ParticipantHere is a video of highlights from Oliver’s Junior year. He was second in the nation in scoring

ilike.panochasParticipantI don’t know about the Brandon Roy comparison. But I see him more like Rodney Stuckey.

bigblackNbeautifulParticipantWe need a new 2 guard. I think Hayward will be our future 3 and glue guy but never the scorer we have lacked in d wills era.

reese23ParticipantI’ve heard people also compare him to Stuckey, so that might not be all that far off. He definitely won’t wow you with his athleticism – similar to how Roy doesn’t – but then suddenly he will maneuver in the air and you wonder "wow, how did he do that?" He is a sneaky athlete, not a freaky athlete.
Overall tho, great skill set for a 6’4 combo guard with a great wingspan. Also, he is an intelligent player similar to Roy.
I think Utah could actually be a good fit for him – he is definitely better than West Matthews, I can tell you that.
