STATnMeloParticipantI really thing Chirs Bosh getting dealt is the best thing for the Miami Heat because LeBron and Wade aren’t going anywhere and Bosh isnt used to being a 3rd option. Most times you can have to 1st options because the role players around them make it easier for them. Kobe and Shaq are legit first options but they complemented eachother so well.
Early on we seen Miami having trouble getting a rhythem but lately Wade and James have been getting a nice sync and strong chemistry is developing. Wade is scoring and playing solid D and playing to LeBron’s strengths while LeBron is just being himself.
I came up with 2 Bosh trade scenarios that not only help Miami but also Bosh become a stronger player and Miami a stronger team.
Trade #1
Rockets receive- Chris Bosh, James Jones and Mario Chalmers
Heat receive- Luis Scola, Aaron Brooks and Shane Battier
why
Houston gets- Bosh a center piece to build around plus they rid Scola’s contract and only have Bosh and players left in their rookie deals for next year giving them money to go after Carmelo and Houston would look more attractive because of Bosh and maybe even enough money for Paul?????
Miami gets a strong 4 man who does dirty work, Brooks is the perfect PG he can play off the ball and James and Wade hide his defensive lapses and Battier who can play D so James or Wade dont have to get into early foul trouble
Trade #2
Mavericks receive- Chris Bosh and Carlos Arroyo
Heat receive- Tyson Chandler and Roddy Beaubois
why
Dallas can have a frontcourt rotation of Bosh-Nowitski-Haywood you cant go wrong out West with that, they would be weak to start defensively btu Marion and Butler and solid wing defenders and Haywood off the bench is a solid inside defender behind Bosh and Dirk. Miami solves their problems at 1 and 5 but have a whole at 4 while Haslem is out but when he comes back Beaubois-Wade-James-Haslem-Chandler will be a lot better off then what Miami has now, Joel Anthony could fill an at 4 for now since Roddy Buckets, DWade and LBJ will handle the scoring.
The 1st one is more likely yet unlikely but the 2nd one should go down Cuban cant say no to that.
But we all know Miami wont part with Bosh

SwatLakeCityParticipantThat first trade would be a lot better. But right now would not be the time to do it. Wait and see if the Big three actually does work out. If the Heat are still right around the 500 mark by feb. then do the trade.
Also it might be a good idea to start using ESPN’s trade machine when suggesting trades because then you can see if it would actually work financially. You can just copy and paste the link ESPN gives you right after you find a trade that works right into the comment box and then do the same thing you would for any link you would normally use. But these both look like they would work. I wish I could show you an example using their trade machine but unfortunately the trade machine will not allow me to trade Bosh at least until Mid-december.
P.S. the title to this post was very misleading. I seriously thought that it would another post about how great the Jazz’s offseason was this year by using addition by subtraction. So naturally being a jazz fan I clicked on it, and was surprised and a little disappointed.

jaysmith1987ParticipantAll the heat need is a derrick fisher type at point guard and a tyson chandler type bigman what they need to do is go through this season see what happens then take a gamble on greg oden and then look for players who are ready to play in the draft. They don’t need to trade bosh because if bosh wasn’t expected to be the dominant rebounder down low he would be the perfect mismatch. The heat were expecting bosh to be like kg bosh doesn’t rebound like kg.

JJeff6ParticipantI really dont see the logic in posting about the heat trading bosh or wade or whoever. THEY ARENT GONNA DO IT. so why post it? ive literally sen 4 or 5 of these today. kinda been adressed a little too much for something thats not even gonna have a chance of happening this year.

goneParticipantAs far as the trade goes scola scores but really does play any d at all he may score 20 but give up 25 the second trade would be better but Chandler and big d are clicking too well to make that trade

sheltwon3ParticipantBosh is actually starting to play good now and I think as a whole Heat are playing better. I think a lot of you guys actually thought they would win 72 games or more their first time up. I knew it would happen. They are lacking pieces but next year they should get a big man and a better point. I also think Chalmers should get more minutes.

JJeff6ParticipantChalmers should get more minutes, but I really dont think he is the answer to their problems. They need to somehow aquire a point gaurd who can make a good impact and be able to help Lebron and Wade play in unicin together.
