Adam Morrison is The Future. 😉 Just Kidding! Don’t give me Negatives!
    But I do Love him still… <3
I grew my hair out, grew a 'stache…I wanted to be just like him and Heck I still would love to be like him.
I hope he finds a niche in this league..He isn't as bad as people think, he had some success early on and showed alot of glimpses that he's a Player in this League.

Why the crap did I get a negative for that haha.

Yeah I hope he does too, just cuz he’s one of those players that I loved to hate. I was a Redick fan lol

ESPN kept calling him Larry Bird, also. Everytime they said that I feel off my couch laughing!!! Anybody who watched basketball knew he couldn’t get his shot off in the NBA.

    Dhamp2…..You know the name

You still hold out hope that Devendorf will play in the league but you knew Morrison was gonna be a bust? RRRIIIGGGHHHTTTT… Any tall, white player that can shoot is dubbed the next Larry Legend, and it’s ridiculous. Morrison still has value but his confidence is shot. If he can get an oppurtunity and not listen to his detractors he has a shot at reviving his career.

I always thought that he’d be a dissapointment in the NBA, but not to this degree…

I thought he’d be a shooter off the bench, something like an Eddie House

But to be in the situation hes in now, nobody saw this coming…

I know, I was hoping he would be at least decent; not a bottom of the rotation man

for someone who cant get there shot off isnt it amazing how he averaged 13 a game as a rookie?

He averaged close to 13 a game which is ok, but he did it on 37% shooting, if you take enough shots some are bound to fall.

Morrison is not as bad as people are saying now but he was overhyped drafted too high and this is what happens when you expect someone that is an average role player to be a superstar. Chase Buddinger is blessed that he went 2nd round because his expectations were low and yet he has exceeded that and really he is playing decent but nothing special. If Morrison went late first round early second people would be saying good things about him now. Tyler Harbrough will be the next player to look bad for getting drafted higher than he should. Joe Alexander is the guy now.

yeah in the ymca i beleieve that but not in the nba. you have to be able to get youre shot off in order to score. not sure if you watched him his rookie year but he was getting his shot off pretty well and some games he did very well for a rookie. he hasnt turned out like some thought but he did play pretty well for a rookie. after that its been injury after injury and now on the best team int he nba. hes not good enough right now to get time on this team with kobe and shannon brown

Those comparisons to Larry Bird were unfair..Watching him in college..I never thought he’ll be a superstar..But he still has the skills to be a decent role player..He still can become a serviceable player..Dude had two 30 point games his rookie year..And averaged 13 a game..Sitting on the bench watching and learning from Kobe will help him..Plus being labeled a bust should make him hungry to prove people wrong..

Overrated bum he can’t beat out Luke Walton or Sasha Vujacic.
At least a guy like Van Horn who had high expectations too scored and rebounded while helping his team win.

Arrived in Charlotte and everytime he missed a shot the crowd booed him. How stupid is that. if that doesn’t wear a mans confidence down i don’t know what would

Wow, Quincey…You sure as hell love you some Sergio Rodriguez!

Only you can squeeze him into a topic that has absolutely nothing to do with him…

lol..well we were talking about guys who arent that good in the nba. gotta bring him up from time to time since alot of ya’ll wouldnt quit with the topics about how good he was gonna be. is funny that it only becomes a burden when things dont work out for a person or if they were wrong about something

As dhamps non-self appointed representative i think he has a chance as a hustle player in the nba once he recovers from surgery.

Devendorf scored 49 points the other day, lol….

Anyway, I don’t care if Morrison scored 13 ppg while shooting 37 percent. He played for Charlotte and had the green light to shoot whenever he wanted. He took 5,000 shots and averaged 13 pts….Yeah OK.

    Dhamp2….Overnight Hall-of-Famer!!!!!!

Quincey, you confuse me. You don’t like Sergio at all, yet you’ve been talking about him non-stop, more than Knick fans even, ever since he arrived in New York. Why don’t you cut out one of the heads in your profile photo and replace it with Sergio’s? And have you noticed that you’re the only person on this site that calls him “The Deer?” Huh? Hmm? Hmm? Huh? Hmm?

As for Morrison, it’s safe to say he’s a bust. He still has a chance to be a productive player, but he’ll never warrant being that 3rd pick in ’06.

Personally hes done. Coming into the Nba he needed to adjust but still had the potential to be a decent scorer. But his injury killed his career all he does is feel sorry for himself now it looks like, did you see that pic of him on the bench today next to Kobe? he looked like he was crying i think its over but if he busts his ass off, and accepts being a role players he can be decent.

maybe you werent on here but when he first went there many peopel were saying howgood he was gonna be and one guy even said could be like steve nash. so its all right to continuously talk about how good a player is or the same team over and over and over again about how they will get this or that free agent but it its something about a player a person likes its not ok?…so it only works one way as far as talking about a player huh

i thought adam was gonna be good.

i thought he was solid pick at number 3

i thought he showed promise his rookie year

Toss all that stuff aside, he has done absolutely nothing to show he is an nba player since his rookie year. Defense, handles, toughness, athleticism, nope, nope, nope and nope. He isn’t even that great a spot up shooter. I hope you saved your cash adam. That’s not hate at all, that’s just being real.

Anyways, Sergio Rodriguez is a great fit for the Knicks. He’s a liability on defense, but defense isn’t a very high priority in D’Antoni coached teams-orangejuicejones…..now i see why you get offended when i get on sergio

I always thought Adam Morrison would be like Wally Szczerbiak type of player. Unfortunately, things worked out even worse for him. At least Wally was able to get a big fat contract. Looks like he better goes to Europe and gain some confidence back before he can try cracking a backup role in the NBA.

Morrison was a big-time scorer in college. I had a feeling he wouldn’t be worthy of being a top 3 pick, but I did think he could be at least a shooter who spread the floor. Definitely didn’t see him being a guy that would sit at the end of a team’s bench in a suit all the time. I didn’t like his off the dribble game, but I did think he’d be a solid shooter for someone. But after watching him play terrible D, have trouble finishing (OK….starting) his shots at the rim, and being just weak and slow, I knew he’d be a bust. He shot poorly from the field and gave up wayyyy more easy shots and points than he could’ve ever imagined himself coring to make up for it. I didn’t even think to compare him to Larry Bird, but I thought he’d be similar to Mike Dunleavy Jr..
