td8118ParticipantDo you guys think he deserves consideration for MIP this year….I really cant believe how solid of a player he turned out to be…He has a very good 3 point jump shot, is extremely quick and is a good PG….I never thought he would be a starter in this league but he is already an above average PG

JNixonParticipantHe’s extremely talented. It’s hard to believe he was once an underachieving Mickey D’s All-American, but he had a monster Senior season that made him an NBA prospect again. Then after that, the Rockets picked him in the late 1st round, and had fans wondering why. But I also didn’t think he was a PG 1st off, so I didn’t see him playing alot, and definitely not starting ever in his career. But he built a decent rookie year into a good sophomore campaign, and after a big playoff performance last year, he’s emerged big time, and is showing some better playmaking skills. So yes, I think he deserves some mention for MIP, but I don’t think he should win. Not with Channing Frye and Josh Smith around.

McWinningParticipanthes not really improved we was rall good last year and broke out last year when Mccgrady went down and there were shots to go around. id say Ellis should win it.

JoeWolf1last season – 11.2 ppg 3.0 apg 2.0 rpg .6 spg in 25.0 mpg
this season – 16.3 ppg 5.5 apg 2.2 rpg .8 spg in 32.7 mpgI like Aaron Brooks as a player, but I don’t think he should get a whole lot of consideration for MIP. I don’t know for certain, but he put up probably just as good of numbers if not better last season in the second half when he was getting the kind of minutes he has been consistantly this year.

TRC1991Participantaaron played at franklin high in seattle (my hometown) and i watched him grow from a ball-hog to a legit score-first NBA pg…the guy is skilled and can truly hoop (hes only 161 lbs. though and could use about 15 lbs. of muscle i.e. will bynum)
