don042488ParticipantI think the Golden State Warriors should package their 2012 first round pick, Dorell Wright, Andris Biedrins, and Jeremy Tyler, to the Celtics for Paul Pierce…Pierce would be back in his homestate, on an up and coming team, while the Celtics can begin their rebuilding process

don042488ParticipantThe Celtics would be in position to draft Austin Rivers, Doc’s son, if they got a pick not in the top 5…Then they still would have 2 more first round picks to add prospects like Fab Melo, Tony Wroten, Quincy Miller, or etc. The Warriors would have a legit playoff team, if they could stay healthy, with Bogut, David Lee, Pierce, Klay Thompson, and Stephen Curry.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantWhy would that SF be the old ass Pierce, I get that he’s from California but he’s almost done IMO, he’s got 1 or 2 years left tops…
They Warriors should try to trade the Pick for a Rudy Gay, Josh Smith, Danny Granger or Andre Iguadola type…all those guys are far younger options than Paul Pierce, the Warriors may have to include a contract to make it work but I believe they are better off keeping that pick than trading it for Paul Pierce, sorry…It’s the right idea, wrong player to me…and they shouldn’t have to involve too many players…1 player and The Pick would do it IMO…

Cosbysweater7ParticipantPierce is going to retire as a Celtic. NO WAY would a trade like this happen

don042488ParticipantWhy would Pierce at 33 years old, want to be on a rebuilding team? What use would the Celtics have for him on a rebuilding team, at his age…

don042488ParticipantThe Warriors could become a legit 4th or 5th seed, in the Western Conference

mosdefParticipantI think the only way that can happen is if GS drafts the player then packages him in a deal cuz the rights are actually owned to Utah if the parameters of a tweaked draft pick trade are met up to 2015, thus GS would be trading either the 1st, 2, 3 or 7th pick for any Small Forward.
